why would Ye have to regress to making homeade fabrics and shyt. from my understanding Ye just wants a simple collaboration with some of these cats. Dude is willing to intern and everything so i dont get it. i hear what your saying because celeb endorsed clothing is extremely cliche and normally dont last long but i just feel like hes using hisnmoney/power to bypass some of the "grind" phase. I really think the higher ups just dont want to be associated with a black man who will speak his mind so loosely. thats not good for business.because thats not how the high fashion industry works... they dont give much of a fukk about a cheap pop, they dont want to be hot for 5 years and played out after 10, they want to rock out for 100 years... everyone who is big in the high fashion industry if you read their stories most started as teenagers selling some hand made garments, then moved up to be grunt salespeople or seamstresses, then designers behind a bigger name, then won awards, then brought fame to their own boutiques, then get tapped to run a big luxury house after 30 years of grinding... kanye wants to skip all that because he is famous, and they looking at him like he crazy and throwing fits...
stop it.This has to be one of the most c00nish statements i've seen on Coli. And that says A LOT.
Ralph Lifshytz also got backing from Neiman Marcus to start off his career. Kanye literally has few of us with even the ability to do that. I understand where he is coming from here. I wonder how many of you guys making fun of Ye' love Pac. Pac was way more belligerent and ridiculous than Ye. He was a hypocrite that spoke about enlightening brothas at the same time killing them. Spoke about enlightening women at the same time calling them prostitutes.
Pac talked about the struggle of black people in general, which people related to. That's why he is so revered. Who cares if he was hypocritical at times, his message was powerful. Kanye is acting like a fukking girl cause white people won't let him make expensive clothes most black people wouldn't be able to afford any ways. People look at Pac as a real nikka. People look at Kanye as a bytch ass nikka.I almost feel like saving this response and entering it into every thread surrounding one of Kanye's rants and tantrums and then just shutting the thread downThis dude is a clown. He wants his own frustration to be everyone else's frustration. It's incredible how this whole thing is centered around him not being able to "break into" the fashion industry as if he's entitled to that sort of "acceptance" from a group of people far more talented than he is. It's like some 2.3 GPA High school student being upset that an Ivy League School won't accept him.
And on top of that, his anger comes from something so petty that is based on his own egotistical, narcissistic issues. While he's "frustrated" about the fashion industry, the average person remains frustrated and stressed about finding a job, paying bills, etc.
Then you have fans on this site who force themselves to defend him all in the name of "pro-blackness" and adopting the same false equivalences this clown makes regarding slavery.
you give a good brother 250k, he will put in footwork and put himself on with no looks, or let the cosigns come to him.
this dude got millions

Pac got himself killed behind his antics, i dont think that is really something to emulate... and also being belligerent when demanding rights etc is one thing, being belligerent when demanding the right to run a fashion house, just doesnt ring the same...Ralph Lifshytz also got backing from Neiman Marcus to start off his career.
