charlemange is synidcated broadcast radio in a few markets...
sway was syndicated radio like 10-15 years ago, and now pretty much runs MTV's rap coverage, as well as being the public face of it...

I could go on and on...we look back and see those people as geniuses...but during their hay days people shyt on them for being "different". Thats how artsy people are in general...they think differently, and dont move the same way as "normal" people.

Heres the difference tho. Those dudes' genius was immediately apparent. Purple Rain didn't come out to mixed reviews. Thriller was Thriller nikka. Im sure Rick James went plat a few times.

Yeezus is meh. A disc of the year contender in the weakest year of hip hop releases ever. Do u think nikkas will be speaking highly of Yeezus in 30 years, when people barely remember MBDTF?
