Proof Kanye West doesn't need "ghost writers". People who are credited on those tracks are just bouncing ideas/producers or sampled artists

freestyling off of the top and writing are two different things, Snoop falls into this category as well.

So much bullshyt in this thread. :bryan:

Its common knowledge that Kanye bounces ideas in the studio but guys like big sean, cyhi etc are writing his material.

Rhymefest has written a few of his most important songs though for sure.

People care way too much about bullshyt like this instead of the actual end product, which is the music.
What I think happens is Kanye has people in the studio with him and they all collaborate on something, whether it be a slick one liner, help with delivering a certain line a certain way, maybe even giving input on a snare or a kick or some shyt.
I don't think it's just Ye walking into a studio to a stack of written raps and he goes right into the booth and spits them, like what most of the people in this thread think.
Kanye's too creative to just have people writing everything for him.

And if you found out that sometimes it really is Kanye walking in & spitting a verse Rhymefest wrote for him would it change your opinion of him as an artist?

No, because I don't care. If Rhymefest would've made the song himself it wouldn't have popped, at all. And for the record I didn't even like "Jesus Walks".

Same way Superb may or may not have written "Supreme Clientele", but according to what Ghostface said in response to the "ghostwriter" claims, it sounds alot like what I believe goes down in Kanye's studio sessions:

"That’s just nonsense. I still put mad shyt out. 'Perb (Superb) is Rae’s (Raekwon) man. He been in the studio a few times while we’re doing shyt. He ain’t write shyt. All ‘Perb contributed was a couple of lines that you could put in the air. When we write, we all do that. “Say this one right here” or “Put this one right here.” We all catch lines with each other ‘cause you in the studio. You got nikkas around you that write. Even if he did write a verse, he could never make an album of mine. He couldn’t make an album, you feel me? I made Supreme Clientele what it is. Those are my stories, based around what they’re based upon. It’s me. I can’t see what songs ‘Perb wrote. He ain’t write "Mighty Healthy" or "One" or "Apollo Kids" or "Cherchez LaGhost" or "Saturday Nite" or "Malcolm"

That's what I don't get how you have all these dope mc's yet "let me Hampton mouth " is on the record. Very few of his lyrics have redeemable qualities much less be considered dope.

"bu bu but he sounds just like this guy on this song"

typical bullshyt speculation. as far as i'm concerned kanye writes most of his own shyt, who gives a fukk about one or two lines, stop with the rumors

Ye using the Supa Dupa flow on a song that came out around the time Sean signed to GOOD is bullshyt speculation?
