untrue?
Kanye gave his opinion on Kweli skills
And it wasn’t even a controversial opinion at that since I’ve been hearing tons of ppl say the same thing about kweli for like 15 yrs :dead:
Kweli feelings just got hurt now he on his twitter fingers shyt again
Kanye did way more than just give an opinion on Talib as a rapper. He went out of his way to clown him and embarrass him.

Lol as someone who talked reckless in my younger days this shyt is hilarious.

You always know when you towing or crossing the line. Even right after you say something the thought crossed your mind "oh shyt I did too much." Luckily it never escalated in those situations lol

These guys on here want to give free passes just bc they like ye more. We all fans but Kweli got a green light to handle this however he feels. He's a grown ass man who has a personal relationship with dude and he supposed to take the slander with a smile

Which part of the game is that?
Exactly

Yeah interview of the year bc of the guest. The guest did all the heavy lifting

This guy spent the entire interview going off topic and having shyt go way over his head instead of asking follow ups

Drink Champs is hot no doubt but it could be miles better if he put in a little work

The interviews wouldn't happen without Nore. Nore's guests on Drink Champs are so open because of Nore's personality. He's an open, friendly guy who just wants to have fun and isn't gonna slam anyone for their opinions.

He's also a credible hip hop cat who's been in the game and in the artists shoes. The format of the show is what makes it great, without Nore you won't get any of these interviews.

Yall act like I'm saying the guests are there for EFN's wisdom :mjlol:. I know why the guests came and I know NORE is a horrendous host when it comes down to it. Both can be true

Only thing that took my attention was the unreleased black Star album :wow:
My theory is this is just a way for talib to tease the album for hip hop nerds. I've heard a lot of Yasiin's newer features so I'm super excited for the New Black Star album.

This.

Especially since Kweli helped give Kanye credibility. Then Kanye goes on a public platform and disses Kweli.

When you say Kweli gave him credibility, what exactly do you mean? I didn’t even know he was down with Kweli until I heard College Dropout. Nobody started listening to Kanye because Kweli gave his stamp of approval. Now if you mean behind the scenes, now that’s another thing.

Breh, before College Dropout came out, Jay Z was out here saying "If skills sold truth be told / I'd probably be lyrically Talib Kweli." That's major and speaks of how highly Kweli was regarded, but let The Booth tell it, Kweli was Silkk The Shocker status.

Dave Chappelle was out here giving Talib, Mos Def, Kanye, etc. a platform. They all performed at Chappelle's Block Party. Kanye was a part of that circle, so yeah, Kweli helped give Kanye credibility as a rapper.

He brought Kanye on the Electric Circus tour back in early 2003. I swear I was the only dude who knew who Kanye was...seriously it was crickets status when 'Ye grabbed the mic to freestyle.

He gave him instant backpack/everyday man credibility and love from the underground cats when the mainstream cats wouldn't give him a second and couldn't even pronounce his name correctly.

Kanye West Stans love moving the goalpost Kanye can bring up all types of private conversations, name drop and shyt on a nikka’s whole existence. But when other nikka got a rebuttal. It’s he corny. He should’ve kept that private. So you cool with Kanye doing the same shyt you calling Talib corny for because you like him. Got it.
Funny you say that b/c someone in here mentioned it's corny for Talib to make long post about rappers and private convos but it's cool for Kanye to get behind a mic and talk for hours about the same people. People did the same shyt when Big Sean responded to Kanye's super personal jab...and the nikka owes him money.
