Well something happened in a town outside Houston. They farm rice there and use natural well water for it.The city decided to start taxing this water some kind if way and took the profit out of rice farming.The landowners argument I pay taxes on the land already .Why would I pay taxes on the water as well.Really crippled the towns economy
