Just listened.

I like Selah, Follow God, and the ending of Use This Gospel (where Kenny G comes in till the ending of the song).

I didn’t like anything else at all.

Also, the beat in Use Thus Gospel sounds like when your seat belt is un-clicked and your car is making that beeping noise, super annoying.

Crazy this the same dude who made Graduation and MBDTF (one of my fav albums ever).

Last project I enjoyed from him was Kids See Ghost.

Respectively, what’s “real gospel music”? isn’t that determined by the listener and quite subjective? This isn’t aimed at the Yolanda Adams crowd. I’ll be completely honest, I hated when they would bring out Yolanda, CeCe or Kirk on black awards shows because their sound was so old.

Lol Breh Travis Green isn’t old his music has the feeling .

It’s the Holy Spirit in the music .

This ain’t it just doesn’t reach me like other gospel music .

I like his efforts on such songs as follow God and water .

Listen to this simple song and tell me it’s not better than anything on this album .

Looking at the tracklist I was surprised to see Timbaland co-produced half of this.

He definitely did the drums at the end of Use This Gospel.

Follow god and everything we need only thing I’m keeping, Kanye is very insecure as far as him competing with the current gen rappers , I feel like this is his way to do kanye without trying to keep up with the drakes and j cole’s, I’m not falling for his gospel phase , he trying hard , I have to come to terms that Kanye West makes bland ass try hard music now......I say this tho, a kanye west produced album from no malice would be dope, atleast No malice Christ like lyrics sound genuine

This is my feeling.. This album is praise music though with the lyrics, not even gospel. I would be much more interesting to hear a story on how he got to where he is verses hearing how great god is however many times.. Thats just me though
