Album was bad. I was expecting more songs like the first track and souls anchored.

Instead we got TLOP reject beats with him rapping about Jesus.

As an artist, he's lost it. I gave this a few listens, and normally I'm biased because I am a fan of most of his discography.......but the mumbling, removing the drums from Chakras/whatever its called now.....for me, its hitting me how far he has fallen off from what he was.

Solely as a producer, he's still got it......the ear is still there, but he shouldn't make anymore albums. At this point in his career he doesn't really need to make albums himself. He should stick to producing/overseeing projects for his GOOD Music artists.

Took a few listens to grow on me but this is actually a good album. It’s weird hearing “use this gospel” after listening to the leak of “laws of attraction”.

Because budgie is behind all the gospel sample selections, the beats slap for sure. Kanye lyrics are what ever, Kanye was NEVER A SUPER DOPE RAPPER, BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE ALWAYS WROTE HIS shyt

Finally finished it and to be honest it was kind of disappointing. To be fair I was kind of expecting to hear 12 different versions of Jesus walks ( which is one of the greatest Christian songs of all time) and felt sad it wasn’t that.

There are two standout songs I’ll add to my gospel playlist (Selah & Water) but the rest wasn’t hitting.

Maybe Kanye should produce a Kirk Franklin album. That would be fire.

Sonically this is better than Ye and Life of Pablo, lyrically of course ye aint said anything worth a damn in the last 10 years or so. Good background noise.
