Those of you wondering why he doesn't create his own factory, publish his own sneakers, etc, etc is because that costs money from the branding, design, materials, boxing, etc.

He's going to keep searching for a big brand because they'd be funding all the needed expenses to create a sneaker instead of it coming out of his pocket.

If he tries to manufacturer clothes and sneakers on his own he'll go bankrupt in no time. He ain't got the money these big sneaker/clothing brands have they've been around for years longer than he's been alive.

Do you what it takes to build a factory, create supply chain, procure inputs, manage operations? This shyt is not easy. It takes teams of bright educated people with considerable experience to make operations work efficiently.

That’s the problem with these rapper entrepreneurs. They only understand design and marketing. That’s like 10% of what goes into getting a product from conception to finished product to customer.

It doesn't take much at all. Because they're shoes, not rockets.

And Adidas, Nike, Skechers, etc...all started with less than Kanye has now and are multi billion dollar companies.

The problem is Kanye doesn't want Black owned anything he wants to stroll up to whites and have his own division in their company which people have told him is low level thinking.

He can have total vertical integration but he doesn't want to do anything on his own.
