2. Da Vinci and Steve Jobs did not get any educations.
You said nothing about teaching yourself and how the fukk do you know that Kanye hasn't taught himself stuff. Steve Jobs autobiography is a book you might wanna read, he said he didn't like school but he went to some classes from a certain professor that inspired him.
3. According to a popular school of thought in economics: A lot of people study but don't even learn anything valuable from school, it's just a signal to employers that you are smart because smart people choose to get a degree. For example goldman sachs CEO studied law but worked as a precious metals trader (which generally would be matched with someone who studies mathematics, economics or geology/mining engineering). Another thing, If you look at certain Scandinavian countries you will see that a lot of their ministers, former prime minsters etc don't have any educations yet they are above us in just about every statistic that isn't based on the size of the country.
In any event Kanye is a genius, a musical genius according to a lot of people.
Which you obviously don't have to go to school to be, the only sort of genius.

I'm talking about the pursuit of knowledge, in order to learn anything you have to be self motivated and have desire
What makes someone a Genius is how to perceive information and what they can in turn do with that information
