exactly. that was good example of the foolishness some people have. As an African I must all say yall donations and shyt aint doing shyt to help those in Africa. And you know this. It is doing nothing but helping your superego...giving you the false sense that you made a difference when in reality it doesnt help shyt because 90% of the donation goes to the white ran NGO anyways.

You wanna help nikkas? Go to africa and build schools. Donate textbooks. Build infrastructure...networks, roads, buildings etc etc. SUPPLY KNOWLEDGE that can be passed down. nikkas will talk about donating money and food when you cant do shyt with it. What happens to the descendents of thee beneficiaries? :what:

100. I misread your post at first so Im glad I didnt hit post lol. But yea I agree. "SUPPLY KNOWLEDGE" :blessed: Exactly. Money works to an extent but you have to change mindsets as well.

As a fellow African, Im sure you know that Africa has alot of resources. So all that has to be done is for the Africans to be shown how to use these resources for their benefit. But this is a whole other story that goes thru the influence and power foreign nations have there. Maybe another thread

nikkas talking about "rich nikka problems" and then wonder why we aint shyt.

Let Ye bytch as much as he wants to because we all have them same barriers at our own respective levels. Hopefully we can too reach that level and too bytch. Hopefully he can do that so we wont have to go through that. Hopefully we can all surpass these levels and continue bytching and bytching some more,.How else do you nikkas expect to progress? You jump up and hit a glass ceiling...you find a torch and slice that shyt. fukk sitting down.

Kanye is ambitious. I don't know what else to say.
this is honestly it.
Dude wants to do a lot, and sees the hurdles in his way. He gets rally passionate about it and people dont understand why he's acting like that.

Most folks think like a worker bee...happy to have what they have, and dont ask questions.
Which is fine, but dont get in another mans way.

The hate is coming from

1. The fact that he is comparing actual slavery to being a slave to fashion brands

2. Talks about black community and lack of black business but is not actually in the Black community, has married and procreated out of the Black community

3. His outrage is a result of rejection from white-European fashion designers

4. Claims to care about people but I find that hard to believe...as he stated verbatim in this interview, he only cares about "God" and his family.

1. The only "comparison" made was him saying that in the olden days slavery was phsyical. But these days its mental. Then he brought up brands.

2. I myself wouldnt marry a white woman nor want my child to. Not because they are lesser (though they could be based on their historical actions) but based on my heritage. With that said, him marrying a white woman doesnt change the message. At least for me it doesnt. Oh and "in the black community". Where is that in America besides the hood?

3. I guess we could say that. If he wasnt saying the same things 10 years ago as a producer that was about to rap. Go watch that throwback MTV interview. Alot of the stuff he's saying here he was saying there.

4. So you find that hard to believe because he said that? Very well. I could careless how people perceive Kanye. He aint my God and is not my leader. Im specifically speaking on the message he gave. And you didnt do anything to tear down that. You went outside of the message he said to discredit it.
What Im saying is, why would his life, validate whether the message was correct or not?

What the fukk are you talking about, the black community is black peoples in America and in the diaspora, if Kanye was so passionate about uplifting black people he wouldn't have a child willingl with a brain dead white women, that is really quite the opposite of what we should be teaching our black daughters to be. That to me says a lot about the person he is.

Why would u put out something u dont have control over the price on

U really mean to tell me this nikka couldn't find anyone to make a white T-shirt for less than $120?

Why don't nikkas actually listen to/process what dude is saying???

He keeps callign himself a new slave, but then keeps handing over control and BEGGING for those same forces to take the wheel..... how does this make any sense?

Can u sum up this nikka's goals in like 2 sentences?
True. But at the same time, do we know the exact process behind it?

These koons can't recognize that Kanye's trying to do something big. Something that no Black has ever done. And you have Blacks against him.

So what he goes off at times, you as a Black man in America can't decipher his messages and ideas from he's passion and frustations? These idiots hear one thing that they don't like and turn on the guy. He's the only rapper with balls to say what he feels. RESPECT THAT!!! if nothing else. He's the only thing close to a revolutionary that Blacks have had in a long time. He's Pac, he is Da Vinci, he is Malcolm of this weak azz, dumb azz generation. Don't know who's for you or who's against or who don't give fukk about you. Dumbazz nigg@s is the reason blacks will stay down.

Kanye the only nigg@ even talking about doing something big, you clowns hating on him.

I agree my dude... People look at the kardashians and shake thier head like those women are dumb reality stars.. This little kardashian team is pop cuture at its finest ..i might be the only person seeing kayne and Kim as a mega power couple.. She is so smart pop culture and media wise...and this is all a great marketing plan by the kayne kardashian team.. I mean he's still able to be himself but in a smarter way..he's in a great position to do some major things.. All the hate he gets is even better to broaden kanyes brand.. Obviously music is easy to him.. Right? Why not expand and venture into things that blacks are not accepted in?.. PERFECT EXAMPLE.. HE IS NOT JUST TRYNNA BE LEBRON,HE IS TRYING TO BE DAVID STERN/ OR OWNER OF A TEAM.. (Am I making sense?) He Has a passion for creating things(I mean he's a producer so I have confidence that he can create some hot shyt)I'm not a expert in business starting so I'm not going to even comment on that but he has all the resources to put himself in a revolutionary position.. Great moves by kayne to rant and move in the lane hes in..

I :salute: him

Thats what yeezy doesnt understand... the rap game is like the crack game... the high fashion industry isn't cut from the same clothe. Its not about do whatever is hot for the current season regardless of the impact on the brand down the road. Dude did a cross promotional effort with them for a freaking sneaker, it sold, they gave him his money, they moved on to other things, kanye is sitting around like why dont we do it again. He is exactly right, in hip hop you find a formula that works you milk it until the fans are sick of it. Drake has a hit record singing on the hook, you gonna see as many attempts as possible to recreate the same song slightly modified until folks are absolutely sick of it... Why you think the hip hop career is like 10 years max, and usually like 5... T Pain cant buy a hit, Akon cant buy a hit, 50 cant buy a hit, Ja Rule cant buy a hit, Nelly cant buy a hit... and they RAN the industry less than a decade ago... in high fashion you come with a different idea, and then next season you supposed to come with something else, the Louis Vuitton don't want to be blazing hot for 5 years and then no one is interested in 10 years they been doing this since 1854, 160 years they getting long term money... not focused on destroying the brand to be hot for the 5 years kanye is interested in being a fashion designer before moving on...

Ok heres the type of analogy Kanye used. Drake made so far gone....

Baby: Good Job!
Drake: Thank you sir! When can I start working on the album?
Baby: We'll call you.....

Is this sensible? As big of a smash that So far gone was? Not at all! And if those fashion designers got in the door, made a hit, and got another chance then why shouldnt Kanye? I dont care for this too much though. I cared about the message he presented at different times. Nonetheless he has a point.

After watching the whole video, from 30:00 and on I actually respect Kanye :salute:

....though I still have questions about his motives.

I have been saying on here, that the number one thing that blacks need to be taught is ownership. We are the most creative beings in the west, hell even the damn planet! We making all this money for other people. That is not right. Blacks, and specially blacks in the west are the Gods in this universe. We are the most influential. Everyone takes from us or make off of us. We need to change that.

I've also stated on here before, that the only way to fight the modern warfare, is to not support these companies.

You need money to start a revolution or any war for that matter.

We need to support ourselves and build our own.

He even acknowledge the God of War, Tupac :to:

Its funny you say this, yet put so much worth in European designers and labels, this is what essentially i've got from Kanyes overall message, he is unhappy because he took a design to Lou v or whoever and they rejected it, now he wants to use his skin colour has a way to get blacks rallying behind him. Kanye obviously ain't a Pan Africanist, neither is he pro black, so i could give a fukk about his bytch ass rhetoric, the women who he decided should raise his black family says a lot about who he is, how can a airhead white whore, raise a black queen?

Lets take feelings and emotions outta this. Can you name three rappers/celebrities that are illustrating the problems that Kanye has? I dont get it? I mean we are focused on fashion while he is dropping gem after gem. Not anything that any knowledgeable person didnt already know. But things that the average sheep did not know and would not know unless Kanye (or anybody in his position as a celebrity) told them. They aint checking the news. They aint checking the higher learning section of this site to come up on some knowledge. So for Kanye to say it might make them start digging deeper. In fact not might it WILL. Not all but some of them for sure. So I give him props for that. If you cant respect a celebrity taking his position to speak on real issues such as slavery to brands such as Jordan and apple and privately owned prisons that get paid for prisoners, I dont know what else I have for input :yeshrug:

Being a revolutionary and fighting for the plight of the people got Malcolm X, Tupac, and MLK (just to name a few) killed. Now being a billionaire revolutionary? We'll see what happens.Thats if Kanye can get to that...

I see what you mean, my family is from Nigeria and my perspective is you got Chinese/Europeans/Americans over in Africa there fighting over who gets to rape the continent for resources next and Kanye wants me to worry about white people not wanting to make clothes with him. Black communities over here in the US have almost 0 economic independence, but Kanye wants us to worry about his ability to make clothes with the same companies that are related to this problem.

Kanye is trying to use blacks as a tool to further his goals and aspirations, Kanye struggle isn't my struggle as much as these Tumblr revolutionaries try to make me seem like a coom for not 'understanding' him.
