He uses ghostwriters, is hypocritical, contradictory, and has an inflated sense of self importance, but when it came to THIS interview Kanye completely turned the tables on Char and Envy, he actually made several excellent points, backed them up well, didn't speak like a middle aged white woman and DIDNT allow Charlemagne to engage him in any fukkery. If anything he made Charlemagne look juvenile in comparison and certainly made Envy look short sighted.

I'm listening to this nikka talk about Nike and it completely went over they heads.

Him saying that people are a slave to brands, and then saying that he NEEDED the Adidas backing just to CHECK Nike..

If you watched this whole interview and all you can say is Kanye wants a fashion line with LV then you missed the whole point.

If you steady hollering about him wifing up a white women when we all know Kim has been hollering about she's from middle eastern descent since she stepped on the scene then you just hating.

Everything he's saying is about fighting against the system, but the metaphor or the way he's expressing the system is the fashion industry. You gotta slide the medicine in the food for ya kids to eat it sometimes.

I'm no Kanye dikk rider or Stan, but this interview made me respect Kanye in a totally different light.

The only other mainstream platinum rapper that I can think of that has said anything against the system was jeezy on the recession and his career hasn't been the same since.

Kanye is the perfect example of why money can't get you everything, especially as a black man..In each example of his business dealings that he presented he was essentially treated like a nicca by these corporations. I would beif it wasn't Ye, but his track record speaks for itself so he has some basis for his rhetoric. He was spitting some real shyt, but he's also very delusional. He can fix all of his problems by not trying to be accepted...he's at a point where he doesn't need that acceptance. Yup when Charlemange said that the album wack he just blew him off and what not. He actually was also trying to instigate him as well by him kept saying "this is what people wanna see Charlemange go off so lets go".

Stop it 5 lol. Its bigger than his fanbase. Celebrities to athletes were ALL rocking Yeezy's.. What He's saying is he deserves a second chance to create something at that extent. He proved it once, why couldnt he get another chance? Would Louis V throw away Marc Jacobs (who I assume works there from this interview. Not sure about it though) after he made a successful print or whatever he does there? Doubtful. He would be appluaded and give another chance. With Kanye not so much for whatever reason.

Exactly... I'm happy he didn't give Charlamagne that "moment." shyt would've done wonders for that clown... Kanye addressed that shyt on Sway's show.... Happy as hell he didn't take the bait.

I finish watching the interview.........................and why was he only comparing himself to white people, but he was shytting on white people? Dude contradict himself the whole interview.

I haven't listened to the whole interview... had to let some things marinate

but the ONLY reason I haven't listened to Yeezus is because of the Jesus reference and him calling himself a god... Because I think he truly believes it

But I think he knows that he himself is NOT God, but a god in roman terms maybe

I also think they missing the point with him trying to do things within these big corporations instead of forming his own, smaller, mom/pop type brands.

Thats why he's not trying to go the Roca Wear or the Sean John route.. this nikka trying to take over a portion of those privately owned fashion companies, not just be a part of fashion. It's not about money as much as it is about kicking down LV, Nike, etc doors and letting him in.

Rocawear and Sean John were HUGE successes but mainly to the black community. He's trying to be a black man with huge successes within anyone's community. He wants a wealthy white woman to look at a piece of clothing from a brand he sponsored and pay $5000 for it instead of it being vice versa for us... They're the ones making bread and thats why we're slaves to Brands
