now 808's definitely isn't a rap album, this yessuz crap has plenty of rap on it, just because it's bad doesn't mean it ain't what it is...kante RAPPING over "experiemental" beats. Him sampling marylin manson doesn't change the fact that he laid wack raps down over it.

How many songs did he not rap on? I gave it 3 spins and tried to forget the shyt so I couldn't tell you. But if I were to go through the album and take note of just how much rapping was being done by kante, this whole "but it's not a rap album" excuse can be thrown in the bushes.

hip-hop and rap aren't interchangeable. you can rap for any genre....content, beats, subject, and emotion make it hip-hop.
that's like saying singing and r&b are interchangeable....which it is not.
