There are other issues that team has outside of searching for another QB after sitting through people like jt o'sullivan, Tim rattay, Alex Smith, Shaun Hill, Trent Dilfer, Ken Dorsey, Chris Weinke etc. And that's just since Jeff Garcia that I can remember.

Dude is potentially the scariest player at the qb position. I think I'd take my chances with him rather than start over again. You don't just trade a qb after 2 very good seasons and another season that people for some reason think was bad for whatever reason.

No it was not.

There were games that year where he was absoulutely abysmal.

The numbers were better than 2014, and he was better in 2013, but I would never call that a very good year

who are we drafting that's better? who is a FA that's better? who is trading a better QB to us? that's what i thought, STFU, kap is solidly a top half QB, everyone doesn't get to have aaron rodgers or andrew luck

Kap is an intriguing case study. It's difficult to judge him based on what happened last year, as the entire on the offense stunk, and it wasn't because of Kap. I don't think he's put together a season that makes him unfukkwithable yet, but he's far too intriguing of a prospect to let go. He's still a boom or bust player right now. He's shown what he's capable of on numerous occasions, and if he can just channel on a more consistent basis, he'll deserve being called a franchise qb. It remains to be seen if this will be the season he does it.
