Kareem focused on that chick isn't my issue or should be to anyone. Nothing she can do to harm me or most black folks compared to the practitioner of institutional racism Sterling is to us.

It's sad that people get so caught up in his stance on the thot that they miss his most salient point...this is not new. Nothing was unveiled here. People have known Sterling was racist a$$hole for 30 years and literally did nothing about it until this jumpoff gave a recording to TMZ. Now said jump-off stands to profit from A) being a jumpoff and B)breaking the law. I see nothing c00nish there. It's hilarious how cats are so quick to call someone, who's actually done something for the cause a c00n because he didn't say "fukk whitey:birdman:".

Her defense was that he was aware she recorded them, saying he often forgot what he said

It wasn't wrong or illegal. Apparently. She was his archivist, and he paid her to record him all the time. Now, whether it was legal for her to release the tapes he paid her to record...

V. Stiviano -- Donald Sterling Is NOT My Boyfriend! | TMZ.com

"We're told ... Stiviano is claiming she worked for Sterling for 4 years as his "archivist" ... along with working for a Clippers charity. " (and of course he wasn't her boyfriend, he was her client :win: and she was his professional cock-cozy.)

But Kareem is wrong to call for her to go to prison, unless he's not calling her to go to prison, but is referencing someone else if she really didn't release the tapes to TMZ.
if this is true, then Kareem is wrong and so am I.

I thought she recorded him without his knowledge.

Kareem is allowing himself to be used as tool to deflect blame off of sterling. He should be smarter than this. maybe he is and its intentional.. i dont put it past no one. not even sure why that thought of the legality of her recording is in his mind to be honest. Thats like a fox news spin of this story. Anything other 100% focus on sterling and his comments right now only serves to cloud the issue and benefit that racist scumbag.

they should

its against the law in California.

Thats not defending Sterling, but that harlot was also wrong.

Not for nothing, but this is the same rhetoric white racists used to prejudice the strategies during the civil rights movement. White supremacists would frame protests like peaceful sit ins as "troublemakers with no respect for the law", and technically they were right because activists were breaking the law, which is why MLK and others were arrested so frequently. It was a way to make the racism a secondary story, and the supposed "law breaking" as the main issue. Its disappointing Kareem would take this angle, but its not surprising. Duke is weirdo.

a) I said I was wrong and so was Kareem
b) no its not the same. Kareem said Sterling was wrong as well. White supremacists would never say the power structure was wrong and would blame everything bad on the protesters.

Kareem said the woman was wrong for recording with out his knowledge, but never defended Donald Sterling.

The shyt Donald Trump said was more along the lines of White supremacist thinking.

the fact that he is showing as much, or perhaps more, outrage over the "illegal recording" as he is about Sterling's racism just shows where his head is at. Hes rhetorically aligning himself with white supremacy thought, in that he is blatantly trying to made the racism involved the less meaningful issue, and deflect on to the actions of the black woman and make her the problem. This is made even more shameful because we arent exactly sure the recording was even illegal. The girlfriend and others claim she had consent to record Sterling.

Kareeem has always been a thoughtful guy, but kareem has always been about kareem and not black folks.
