I'm listening to this now. Its obvious the guests carry this podcast because these two dudes are :trash::scust:

Combat Jack and a few others podcasters could dead ass carry a whole show on some howard stern shyt if a guest pulled a no-show last minute. I had to fast forward to the 10 minute mark on this one skipping straight to when Biggs showed up. Short of El Chapo himself coming on and telling his whole story to Elliot Wilson, I don't think I'll be tuning into the Rap Radar podcast again. I'd rather read a transcript of this s*** but I'm hanging in because I wanna hear some gems

The bolder for real. I hate podcasts, I'd rather just read this shyt

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Ace was never calvin's worker though
close enough... i mean the real story of him being shot wasn't played out like the calvin situation

so you got a guy who put him on (told him what to do, how much, and gave him the idea first)

get locked up... while being locked up the rookie becomes the boss... then the new boss tries to give him a worker position.. where he doesn't have to do shyt, just sit back and get paid... and the other dude said fukk all that, cause he wanted to be the man again

and they fukking named him calvin of all the names in the world to use... and he a light skinned funny looking nikka like calvin too...

dame was on his :troll:

Desiree Perez, the wife of OG Juan.

But multiple sources told the Daily News that A-Rod’s last chance for a dignified exit ended when he turned to Desiree Perez, a Manhattan nightclub manager with a lengthy criminal record and close links to hip-hop mogul Jay Z.

While Perez is not an employee, officer or agent of Jay Z’s new agency, Roc Nation Sports, sources say she is a major behind-the-scenes influence.

“She’s directly involved with the athletes,” one baseball insider said. “She has a lot of power.”

Perez is also a convicted felon, with a long and wild history as a DEA cooperating witness and then a fugitive. She wore wires to meet with major cocaine traffickers, according to federal court transcripts obtained by the Daily News.
...
Court records obtained by The News show Perez was part of a massive cocaine distribution case in 1994. Following her arrest, she became a key government cooperator, going undercover to help the DEA build successful cases against major traffickers in Puerto Rico and Colombia.

Cooperation with the feds won her supervised release, but she went on the lam and then served nine months in prison.

some nikkas can never see the long game... and it wasn't when they were low.. it was after jay just sold 5 million... so he should have seen where this was going somewhat... damn sure higher than his career ever been

Young Guru: Jay tried to give Jaz a deal. But when he was trying to give him a deal, they were just starting Roc-A-Fella. They gave him a $300,000 deal and Jaz laughed at it. They couldn’t afford to give you a major deal, so Jaz went with a major company. It’s not Jay’s fault.

Jay is like, ‘We offered you a deal, that’s how much we could afford to give you. $300,000 was a lot for you back then, you didn’t roll with it. You fukked up. It’s not my fault. What do you want me to do?’

who in the fukk was offering jaz-o 300k in 98-99... and that's your man... so you know he gonna hold you down with more once you on the team.... and you still said fukk it

reminds me of dame... jay offered him and biggs the roc and he'd leave... just give me reasonable doubt... biggs said yes.... dame said no.. so jay took the president position and had control of the roc anyway

again, not thinking of the long game... now dame out here peddling bullshyt.. acting like he's done with rap music when really his dame label just failed and nobody wanna fukk with him... biggs still cool with jay and getting money with him... and dame sitting on the outside looking dumb

pride cometh before the fall

So going off what you said, what is it Jay wants with Reasonable Doubt? To own it or? And why? I mean i get that its his most credited album but being that hes a biz man obviously it wasnt exactly his most succesful album. So what do you think Jay wanted to do with it, unless hes spoken about it before?

He wanted to own the masters of it because it was "his baby" those we're his words. He told them that they could have Rocafella and all he wanted was that album. Dame told him no so he said fukk it and ran Rocafella while he was President of Def Jam.

All Dame had to do was give Jay the album and he would keep everything else while Jay went to be president of Def Jam

Thnx for tellin me the 4-1-1.

However, its easy for an outsider to say what Dame should've done considering that we dont know the ins & outs or the reasoning as to why he choose not to.

You're right but what else would be the reason? By that time Jay had what six or seven albums released? Rocafella still had a hell of a roster and State Property was still affiliated along with Dipset. All dude asked for was his debut album and you could have EVERYTHING else. He was basically doing what Dre did when he bounced from Deathrow and left everything there wit Suge.

It could be more but I think Dame let his ego get in the way and he wasn't thinking straight. Dame was that nikka back in the day, dude fought for a lot of the shyt that these labels can do now. He wouldn't let them executives shyt on his label and they knew that. Its part of the reason now why he can't do shyt in the industry. Just look at what he did with Paid in Full and how they blocked that shyt. Dame was a beast but a headache to the wrong people.

Imo dame should've put his pride aside and fell back. He was burning bridges to the point that jay had no choice but to part ways. I'll always respect Jay move because he saw the writing on the wall. Same with Kanye
