Cam'ron: "Remember Best Out? They were the best out. A group from Harlem, wasn't down, felt left out" Diamonds and Pearls

Interesting that Jay didn't want to be on any other Rocafella artists single and wouldn't do magazine covers with them. I wonder what his exact rationale was...
he spoke on this before.. he hated being a crutch.. he felt it was wack to be like 50 cent.. every time you put out an artist, guess who's on their first single.. every time you see them somewhere, guess who's there with them

it becomes jay-z and friends.. he'd rather give you that little push to start, then you learn to walk (or fall) on your own

most albums he'd be on... somewhere... but that whole, first single, 5-6-7 tracks featuring, all in your video, all on the magazines with you.... nah.. he wasn't about to do that

Desiree Perez, the wife of OG Juan.

But multiple sources told the Daily News that A-Rod’s last chance for a dignified exit ended when he turned to Desiree Perez, a Manhattan nightclub manager with a lengthy criminal record and close links to hip-hop mogul Jay Z.

While Perez is not an employee, officer or agent of Jay Z’s new agency, Roc Nation Sports, sources say she is a major behind-the-scenes influence.

“She’s directly involved with the athletes,” one baseball insider said. “She has a lot of power.”

Perez is also a convicted felon, with a long and wild history as a DEA cooperating witness and then a fugitive. She wore wires to meet with major cocaine traffickers, according to federal court transcripts obtained by the Daily News.
...
Court records obtained by The News show Perez was part of a massive cocaine distribution case in 1994. Following her arrest, she became a key government cooperator, going undercover to help the DEA build successful cases against major traffickers in Puerto Rico and Colombia.

Cooperation with the feds won her supervised release, but she went on the lam and then served nine months in prison.

That article is fake as hell that dude is paid by Scott Boras to try to kill Jay, he's been doing it ever since Jay started robbing him of athletes. How can you claim to have documents and not post them? No-name sources and nonexitent documents, and googling "Desiree Perez DEA" only shows articles from NY Daily News, Scott Boras PR firm.

Breh you think they could just print these as facts in New York of all places, being complete and utter lies, and never catch a libel case?

And never get sued?

And nobody from jay camp so much as deny it?

I mean it was 94 and its OGs wife. It's not like jay gonna kick her off the team. It's his mans fukking wife. But if that was all made up bullshyt. There would definitely be a statement of some kind

I think she knows Juan through Jay-z and them.
Now tell me, why wouldn't any other source pick it up except the same magazine? How can you claim to have 2 documents one for A-rod and the other for Desiree but only show the one that we all know is true (A-Rod)?

There's probably dirt, they were all in the street a lawsuit would just expose your whole past. Which probably isn't smart, the article didn't not catch, so they probably let is rest.
Why don't you think that National Enquirer and such magazines aren't getting slapped with lawsuits everyday?

I like where Biggs detailed what happened when he saw Jay for the first time in what I assume was 5 years or more, and he said they just started laughing......That happens with some old friends of mine,( with much less gravitas, as I am much younger, and did spend 15 years in the life with them) from time to time, but esp. two old street guys from a different era, through the deals, the prison time, the rumors and gossip, the money and bullshyt just two old friends kind of shaking their heads in awe of it all, loved that part....

The game be like that :wow:

I'm listening to this now. Its obvious the guests carry this podcast because these two dudes are :trash::scust:

Combat Jack and a few others podcasters could dead ass carry a whole show on some howard stern shyt if a guest pulled a no-show last minute. I had to fast forward to the 10 minute mark on this one skipping straight to when Biggs showed up. Short of El Chapo himself coming on and telling his whole story to Elliot Wilson, I don't think I'll be tuning into the Rap Radar podcast again. I'd rather read a transcript of this s*** but I'm hanging in because I wanna hear some gems
