Got this from another forum:

On this week's episode of the MLW podcast Court Bauer had an interesting comment while discussing NXT and the new facility. He mentioned that a group of talent in NXT that had been there for quite some time had sort of grouped together, grown complacent, weren't going hard in the gym and weren't giving it 100% as they had once before. He also singled out one person in that group (but again, didn't give a name, claiming it to be a sensitive issue) and claimed they were about to be called up to the main roster, but the said talent's attitude problem derailed that for now and he's now seemingly on the bubble.

As mentioned above, Bauer didn't name the performer. If I had to guess, I would assume he's probably talking about Kassius Ohno.

Then there's this.

Source: Wrestlinginc.

Plans for NXT star Kassius Ohno, f.k.a. Chris Hero, to join the main roster have apparently been put on hold.

According to a source, the creative team had a storyline to introduce Ohno this summer. People within the company were impressed with his in-ring skills and his promos, and had asked him to improve his physique while creative worked on his introduction. According to trainers at NXT, Ohno seemed reluctant in the weightlifting and gym sessions, although he continued to receive high marks for his overall attitude and the great effort in his daily in-ring sessions.

Word got back to Triple H about Ohno dodging gym time, and he was removed from TV tapings. Ohno has missed two tapings in the past few weeks, and there is said to be increased concern about his status with the company. A lot of people are still high on him, but this could prove to be costly for one of the top prospects in WWE's developmental system.

It seems the second report it's dirtsheet 101 with them taking a story, making an educated guess and running with it. The last time someone was "in the doghouse" Mark Henry had the best segment in YEARS so I guess we'll have to wait with this one :scheme:

From Rob Naylor:

"Wrestling Inc" story is false. Just saying.

"Dodging gym time" made me laugh - as everyone in the system trains with the new strength coach with no exceptions. Couldn't "dogde the gym" if he wanted to.

It's true he needs to get in better cosmetic shape - hopefully he starts putting it together.

Debunked. :lolbron:

He might be. Guy's been going back to forums ever since he left WWE.

:obama:

Has he been in a podcast or posted about his time in FCW/NXT? Always liked the guy and would love to hear stories from developmental.

Podcast, nah. Most he's posted is how fond he is of Summer Rae and Big E Langston. Sure guy's got nothing but positive things to say about the place and people he's worked with. :lawd:

Not necessarily applied to this story, but I never understood why some wrestlers didn't like to hit the gym. Like ... breh, this your job. You are getting paid to do this, stop complaining and go squat some weights.

Yeah, Hero made HUGE improvements just to get where he is now his last few years in the indies, but he does need to get in better shape. Atleast CM Punk. The WWE is not going to have a tall gangly mawfukka knocking out their midcarders.

He needs to take a hint and go on a 'roid cycle :yeshrug:

Remember when he was fat as fukk and wearing that bootleg Superman tee? He made some huge improvements. I'm still trying to watch those Hero vs Punk matches, haven't seen a single one.

They're not that good tbh. Tried to watch that ninety minute match they had, but it was :sadcam:.

Imagine those two facing each other now though. :ohhh:

They had those matches before Punk became a bootleg KENTA and before Hero became White Misawa. It's a million minutes of fukking arm drags and Hero doing every single contrived lucha sequence he'd ever seen in a CMLL compilation tape.

Seriously, there is ZERO need to watch any of their matches.

Yeah, I know. Their TLC match was godawful too. Only highlight of that shyt was when Punk piledrived Nadia Nyce through a table.

Only reason we thought those matches were good back in the day was because our standards of independent wrestling weren't that high. Now this stuff doesn't hold up well when you watch it years later. Shame.
