I mean, being a comedian is an art and all but they have to do shows which in turn means it's a business. No one is gonna book, sponsor, or promote you if it will fukk with their future money.

The only issue I have with cancel culture is when people use it to try and take power away from people they don't like. Then they bring up oh hey they get to cancel people why can't I. Two similar situations aren't always the same thing. If a white person uses the hard er on stage it's different than someone saying cracker.

Sometimes I read comments from those who complain about cancel culture the most, and I realize that they are just as sensitive as the "sjws" they cry about. Any criticism to them = canceling someone.
