I stopped believing anything Katt Williams says a long time ago. It makes for interesting sound bytes, but that's about it. Dave has said multiple times that he couldn't stand being super famous, and hated everything that came along with it. Even in his stand-up shows before he blew up he would talk about never wanting to get too big as a celebrity.

A lot of people get burnt out on fame, but Dave was just smart enough to walk away before he ended up like Katt Williams.

Between the first 1st and 2nd season sales he's probably sold 10 million copies of them total. At 20 dollars that's 200MM right there

I beliece I've seen every interview Dave has had since he left the show, and the only answers Dave gave for leaving was what I outlined in my posts (well he also said he had go to Africa because they wanted him to sacrifice a part of him he wasn't willing to give up).

Now if you have some additional info that either he said, or someone with ties to his situation said please share with the class.

Exactly. His bit about he only wanted to be famous enough to put his dikk on someone's shoulder and they not get mad summed it up perfectly. Dave wanted nothing to do with fame, and he wasn't motivated by money either. He was just an incredibly talented dude who wanted to live a normal life and make people laugh.

He really wasn't bout that Hollywood life.

Katt Williams is definitely sauced up. I've only watched about 20 seconds but I just wanted to put that out there because I know from experience what it means when u do that head constantly moving up and down kinda jazz. Not taking away anything about what he said (cause again I didn't watch the video) but I'm just saying that for people thinking he lost his mind or is on dope. I'm looking at him and he's clearly saucy and the cup next to him looks like gin and tonic or vodka and tonic

I don't know if what he says is 100% true or not but it is definitely intriguing. I'm leaning towards Katt due to the fact that Niel Brennan (as someone posted a video earlier) had a hand in saying Dave had drug problems and that was supposed to be a good long time friend of his From that I would say there was a definite plan to smear Dave when he left but the reason is still unclear. I haven't heard any of the behind the scenes dealings going on with Bernie Mac and his story before he died. I hope someone can shed some light on that for me.
