Was it MJ where Kobe learned how to play full games left handed from? Was it MJ learned how to play with all star big men from? Kobe won rosters made completely differently than the ones MJ won with. Also Kawhi himself said he patterned his game after Kobe. He’s painfully himself on the court too. I don’t think MJ or Kobe took 5 seasons to average 20ppg, or 9 seasons to finally put up more than 20 shots a game, or average over 3.5 assists. Kobe’s the ballhog yet Kawhi gone 8 seasons without being a ball distributor in even the least bit. But he’s more like MJ than anyone else huh

Kobe got roasted for almost 2 decades for "playing like Mike" now Kawhi apparently plays even more like MJ(), and its a good thing.

Real basketball fans see that there are pretty significant differences between them in terms of play style and physical abilities.
Kobe never demonstrated mike's high bball iq.
kobe was a style morph who only could put the mike move he practiced or amalgamated into fruition in games. Kobe never had the bball iq or actual real skill of mj a s shooter, finisher, scorer or lockdown league best defender. Jordan in 96-98 was efficient, but he wasn't moving people like Kawhi is. The comparison to me is the mid range efficiency and not necessarily the moves. Kawhi is just being a damn bully. Footwork and bullying folks to his spot. He's transitioned into an old man game
