And yet they've still faced better competition than the Cavs have over the last three years. Go figure.Debatably, but the Warriors havent faced many healthy opponents in 3 years, so![]()

What you want the Cavs to do about about it then? Lose on purpose? Get Dan Gilbert to move the team to Seattle? Las Vegas Cavs? And yet they've still faced better competition than the Cavs have over the last three years. Go figure.
How many great players have the Cavs injured while they were getting killed to turn their series around? And yet they've still faced better competition than the Cavs have over the last three years. Go figure.
You've been bytching about the Warriors [lack of] competition in the Western conference over the last three years; about how they've played injured teams, about how they've avoided certain teams, all the while turning a blind eye to the fact that LeBron has faced easier competition in the EC over the same period. Why should the Warriors be expected to run through the gauntlet of the Western conference playoffs when LeBron and the Cavs quite literally sleepwalk their way to the Finals year after year? How many great players have the Cavs injured while they were getting killed to turn their series around?
How many superstars did the Cavs recruit to come join them so they wouldn't have to play and lose them them no more?
fukk outta here man
No more than believing the Spurs would continue to blow them out like they did in game 1 of the season and game 1 of the playoff series.
For most, the actual basis of believing the Warriors were def winning the series despite what we saw game 1 is because its the Warriors and the hypetrain has been calling them all-time great for 3 years and ignoring everything else.
Heres some more FACTS. They lost by 30 to the Spurs and were down by 25 at home gm 1, they blew a 26 pt lead to the Grizzlies, blew a double digit 4th quarter lead to the Celtics to lose double digits. Those are all FACTS. None of that was the narrative. So the "hypetrain" is the basis. Not the FACT that they've actually come from behind against a Kawhi led team before...

Yes the hype train is the basis here. Everybody just assumes that despite the fact that twice on Golden State's own floor with both teams at full strength the Spurs were blowing these dudes out![]()

Warriors definitely beating Spurs was the narrative.
Why?
Yes that's all reflected in the "Warriors are definitely beating the Spurs no matter what" narrative. I'm wondering why none of the other FACTS seem to factor inDont forget the FACT that they beat the Spurs in SA without KD in March.
