You ol' in the moment ass stans. Durant wasn't even close and this is no bias I've always liked Durant even though he is on the bytchmade team, still got the KD Sonics jersey :sadbron:

Durant is that dude, but come on now lets not get ahead of ourselves and just start proclaiming him better than anyone yet. smh if his team loses the series, is he gonna be the most overrated than? come on now, yall are getting ahead of yourselves. Kobe had better/comparable numbers as a 2nd option than Durant who is the 1st option on his squad.

LOL, all Kobe fanatics who were rooting against LeBron all these years didn't see the clear and present danger with KD.

:ohhh:

:russ:

Man please. Bean's career is about wrapped up. I don't mind watching Durant. No dislike here.

KOBE TOOK MORE SHOTS THAN DURANT (NUMBER 1 OPTION 3X SCORING CHAMP)
AND SHAQ (NUMBER 1 OPTION)

lol breh who was gonna take all those shots for Bean? Rick Fox? Devean George? Robert Horry? Fisher? They were all really good role players and did the dirty work and played there hand and were significant in the 3-peat. But, this is Kobe breh, he always will be a volume scorer and is always gonna keep shooting it no matter what until his career is over, that's just the way it is, but it worked did it not during the 3-peat and the 2-peat? Also, when they would feed Shaq in the post, the dude would get doubled and tripled team, which help create easy buckets for Kobe off the dribble and the rest of the team. Even though his shot was ugly as hell though during the 3-peat. And as a 2nd option, he was the closer for the squad.

Then why give him extra credit as a "2nd option" when you fully admit he always played like he was the 1st option?

This nikka Here never seem to amaze me. nikka come clean Bilz or profag alias?

He's not wrong.

Some dudes act like Kobe has no flaws in his game and nothing is ever his fault. And anybody saying Kobe is better than Jordan is a damn idiot.

Because Shaq was the best player on the team, was better than Kobe during that time, and was the player that other teams scouted and game-planned the most for. As great as Kobe was, the dude was and always will be remembered as the 2nd option during the 3-peat. Even though he took more shots than Shaq, Shaq was a lot more efficient and was just unstoppable and untouchable. But, imo what made the Lakers great during that run was that Kobe had that mentality that he was the best player on the court no matter what, which had teams shook to, because he wouldn't take no backseat to anyone. It's sorta like the Durant & Westbrook dynamic that they have, as both are great players, and both think and want to be the best player on the court when they play. If you look at it now, the Shaq & Kobe dynamic is a bit similiar to the Durant & Westbrook dynamic.
