Only reason KD usually gets a pass, is no one try’s to link him to Kobe, so the stans stay at bay, to be honest, i can’t be mad, because given how this series was, a hobbled Harden, and Irving gone, they were in no position to make this a series, it’s also a few teams that got over humps because stars were hurt during series, i get KD kind of fell off ot but how bout he got them to OT, how about if Joe hits that three then we look at probably a different outcome, or even if harden takes the ball and drives to the cup, instead of passing back, shyt if KD is not wearing damn near a size 18 that deepest 2 becomes a 3 and game over :mjlol:

the hate for Bron is only for Bron because he will be forever measured by MJ and Kobe, and the stans for both tend to form up like voltron on this board

I'm clowning mostly in jest bro...

He did everything he could for his team this series, I'm not really knocking Durant. His limitations started showing up as the series wore on, particularly when Kyrie went down, but they aren't limitations that were unexpected---->at least not unexpected to me because I don't view KD as a perfect player, and I don't have this expectation that he should have to do literally everything for his team in order to win...

Losing 4 of the last 5 to Mke when you only needed 2 and had home court does hold a little significance, though. Durant didn't play well in Milwaukee this series, let's call it what it is. If he has a great game on the road that's the 4th W, and you don't get to 7...

He was asked to do alot and couldn't do enough but that isn't a huge knock, it's just a statement of fact. He couldn't play elite D down the stretch of these last few games, and he was bad in OT tonight with a couple bad shots, mad turnovers, he was pressing too hard for the hero dagger. But this wasn't unexpected---->again, his G5 performance was stellar but it was one game. The few times in his career that he was tasked with having to be the "everything" guy over prolonged stretches, this is in his history, hella turnovers, hero ball bad shot taking, misses in the clutch because he's trying to do it all the entire game, etc. This is not a revelation with Kevin Durant but he's one of the rare guys, cats oy wanna remember his good moments...

But again, while these are fair points to bring up, he's not the main reason why they lost this series. The injuries to two of their three best players, the inability of any role player to be consistently good, no one on the team playing well in Milwaukee when YOU HAVE TO WIN ROAD GAMES IN THE fukkING PLAYOFFS, Nash's rookie coaching showing up at the worst times, all of these are as much the reason they lost as anything. Durant has his share in it but he's maybe 10% of the reason they actually lost...

The biggest problem on this board is that you can't have fair discussion with most players, so since the standard here was already set that if you're the best player I'm the world or even one of them, if you lose you get shytted on, Durant can take his lumps too. Man is a multimillionaire many times over, and one of the most accomplished players ever, he's fine. He doesn't need the outpouring of sympathy many dudes giving him right now particularly given the rules are different for his contemporaries...

Durant had his LeBron moment for the first real time in his career. Be clearly the best player on the floor for the entire series and it still isn't enough...

We saw him drop a 2-0 lead, lose 4 of the next 5 games, when this board told me Durant was good for two Ws by himself. We all know without a shadow of a doubt that if LeBron or Curry blow a 2-0 lead this board would blame them entirely for the loss...

So the stumbling and bumbling yall bout to do for Durant is about to be funny, I watched every game. Down the stretch Mr Perfect Basketball's habit for hero ball came back to bite him in the ass, Kevin Durant went 0-6 in OT but let me guess, he was just gassed, right?

LeBron would've won, came out the East and then lost in the finals because that's what LeBron does :skip:

Look at all the fukking qualifications he throws in there. :mjlol:

Bron scored 51 points in 48 minutes against a STACKED Warriors team and scored 5 points in the final minute to put it into overtime, but people here still talked mad shyt about Bron when they lost that game even though it was Hill and J.R. who fukking blew it.

And that was a better performance than KD tonight cause the talent gap his team was facing was much bigger, the defenders he faced were better, it was in the fukking Finals, and he shot far better than KD did....but you'll still nitpick dumb shyt as to why that time it was okay to talk shyt about Bron but this time you're bushing KD threads and giving people warnings.

Or Orlando too in 2009, people STILL talk shyt about that series even though he averaged 40-8-8. Lost a game where he put up 49-6-8 on 20-30 shooting and hit the three-point play to put them up 2 with 25 seconds left, lost a 44-12-7 game where he hit two free throws with 0.5 seconds left to send the game into overtime, then scored 10 in overtime including a 3pt with 5 seconds left that cut the lead to 1 but it wasn't enough. Posters like you still talk shyt about him not winning that series.

45-5-6 in Game 7 against Boston in 2008 (scored 13 in the 4th but it wasn't enough), 39-11-9 and 41-13-8 on ridiculous shooting in losses against stacked Golden State in 2017 (was being guarded by every elite defender they had all that matters is KD hitting a 3pt), 44-8-6 and 40-14-11 in losses to Golden State in 2015 (once again supporting cast worse than KD's and facing a better team). He still gets mocked for every one of those, including by dumbasses like you.

Worst. Mod. On. The. Internet.

The only time Lebron played a player like prime Giannis in the East was prime Dwight and what happened? Lebron also had HCA and Dwight was missing his AS guard. This was a similar series.

The East got way better in recent years don't kid yourself. Damn near every contender got a superstar in their prime.

Celtics - Tatum, Jaylen damn close too
Hawks - Trae, Collins, Capela, Bogdan
Sixers - Embiid, Simmons, Tobias
Bucks - Giannis, Middleton, Jrue

When Lebron was going through the East the teams he went through

Celtics - led by 5'6 Isaiah Thomas
Celtics - led by Al Horford
Craptors - led by DeFrozen who can't even make an AS team or playoffs in the West
Pacers - led by Paul George who was a joke in the West for 3 straight years
Hawks - led by Al Horford and Paul Millsap (this Trae Hawks team is better than any of those ATL teams)
Pacers - led by Oladipo
Pistons - led by Andre Drummond
Bulls - led by 22yo D Rose, also had peak Wade and Bosh
Bucks - led by Monta Ellis :mjlol:
Sixers - led by Jrue Holiday and Andre Iguodala :mjlol: took those geezer 2012 Celtics to 7 and nearly beat em

Scathing
