No they don’t. If Kyrie had 10 more points and scored 20 they win last night.

I just don’t see that Celtics defense letting him score another 10 points and go off like he did in game one.

Nets win one game in this series and that’s the game their name brand dudes score big. Just can’t see the Celtics laying down for 2 straight games and this magically becomes a “series”

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.

No I believe Kyrie is the one that can play around the Celtics defense. Last night smart played good D but Kyrie is more to blame than smarts D. Barely no touches or interest in touches and took a night off.

He should be inspired by game 1 to never ever score 10 points in this series again

Looks like some of himself was left on that court last year. Every superstar that ever got old had the last gasp

Gotta see a larger sample size to believe he's washed. Like, I wasn't there with Harden after the playoffs last year, but his total body of work this year has convinced me that he is...

I do believe Durant's body is breaking down and despite the fact that he can still be the best player in any game on any night, he hasn't played more than 55 games in 3 years now. If he's not quite washed he's certainly on the decline...

Aight b relax

I wouldn't go that hard on him but his premise is true. LeBron went to 3 Finals in 3 years with Kyrie, who had injury issues then...

KD has had 3 years of Kyrie and missed a full year followed by two years of probably early exits. Kyrie has never been part of high level winning aside from his 3 LeBron years...

Not necessarily. Kyrle would have had to shoot 70% in order to score 20 without taking shots away from someone else, and everyone other than him and KD had really nice games so who is he taking those shots from? Brown, Dragic, and Curry combined for 57 points on 37 shots.

They would benefit from his playmaking and size to grab some rebounds and defend. Things they are sorely missing to be honest. I mean KD and Kyrie couldn't even dribble drive in the paint last night. Simmons posting up would force Celtics putting Smart on him. Basically allowing KD and Kyrie to spot up and shoot.

You don't think Brown could guard Simmons? Heck, even Horford switches onto perimeter guys all the time without getting burned.

I was just being technical. Basically Kyrie didn’t even have to put too much effort in this second half to make this game fall apart.

It’s only been two games, but he’s been considerably worse this series than at almost any point in his playoff career. This isn’t normal playoff KD.
He shot 37% and 27% from 3 against Dallas in 2016. Matter of fact, his entire 2016 playoff run was struggle city. Russ has a legit case for being the best player on the team that year. In 2013, he struggled so bad against the Grizzlies that his own city called him out etc.

Going to GS was the best decision of his career. Not only did he win chips, but it cleaned up his rep. Now all of a sudden his struggles in OKC are forgotten and people act like he’s always been a killer in the playoffs
