The Nets offense is so ass. That combination of Dinwiddie, Levert, Irving, Durant and Allen was the best they ever looked and they traded it all away for bum ass Harden.

Like I’ve been saying for months, Nash is pretty much scott Brooks when Russ and KD were together in OKC. No system, just winning bc he had the most talent.

Naw this Nets squad has more than enough horses. HE needs to play better. I'm not really tripping on the missed shots, he'll get more efficient as the series progresses.
Him being so damn haphazard with the rock is more concerning than anything.

He's far to predictable with his movements. Peep everytime he goes into that big hesi (that's a carry btw), every Boston player pushes up on it immediately and crowds cuz they know he only wants the pull-up out of that move. He needs to chain that move or just explode to the basket to keep the defense guessing there.
As well as quit being so damn premeditated when he gets the ball on the block.

And Steve Nash, bro HAS to do a better job of having some dummy action going on off the ball to preoccupy the defense

When I see people rave about KD's handle I just chuckle...because you are right many times its a carry

and second people rarely and foolishly never pushed up on his handle....turnover problems are not unknown for KD and teams who haven't scouted that are lazy

Ultimately, this is what I've been saying for awhile


KD is an iso guy first.

When he has the ball in his hand , you don't have to worry about the threat of the pass like you do with LeBron. So he's predictable.

When the ball is not in his hand, he's not moving like Curry. So he's not helping the offense generate good shots like Curry (which is why Curry has always led some of the most explosive offenses ever, while KD, the supposed best scorer ever, hasn't).

When the shot aint falling, he's more likely to check out.

And his bag is low-key limited. He has the same predictable pull up hesitant jumper moves, and 1 cross over, and a generic turnaround fadeway.


This is why I've said KD NEEDS a point guard like Steph. KD is a fun scorer, but he can't win as the undisputed best player on your team.
