He should’ve never left Steph. Easiest buckets he ever got in his life. :francis:

if Steph and Klay (and Poole) were running off screens, guaranteed KD wouldn’t be getting stripped every time he touches the ball. But this is what happens when he wants a coach that doesn’t have a system
A potential Steph-Poole-Klay-KD-Dray Death Lineup. :picard:

Only so far a "bag" can get you.

If KD had stepped up his playmaking to a passable level the Nets are up 2-0 right now.

He can still turn it around, but he needs to make them pay for what they're doing to him defensively by distributing the ball without turning it over. He doesn't have Steph to draw all of the defensive attention anymore, its up to him.

"Durant and Irving were a combined 1 for 17 in the second half. "

Yo, Simmons has the opportunity of a lifetime right now. If he comes in and turns around the series then the narrative on him will change INSTANTLY. :pachaha:
No it won’t, he’s not hated for what he does in the court he’s hated because he’s Ben Simmons

In theory that sounds good, but being a 7footer than can handle the rock is what makes KD, KD. If everytime he got the rock up top it became a tendency that he only shot it, you think that would help? He has to pass it to keep the defense honest. And Boston is not finna just let him camp on the block and feast on 1v1 coverage. He has to handle the ball
Unless you're proposing something else and I misunderstood what you meant

  • He can't handle the ball though. The turnovers have been a problem for months. It's just being highlighted on a bigger stage. His handle isn't tight. He often gets the ball poked or swiped away. That's not when he's throwing lazy passes.
  • The set plays they do have stink. The screen and roll to Drummond/Claxton develops too slow and they crowd the area. Abandon it.

Y’all lucky Ben Lumbago Simmons ain’t playing, this series would be over

He not the answer especially against this boston defense.

Nets need scorers and Ben not no scorer.

Harden was the answer but they drove him out of town

I hope people realize KD was never the reason why GS won those 2 titles. Hell the warriors coulda just ran it back and won the 2 titles regardless or at least win 1 title.

I told yall if the Nets win the chip this year it's on the back of Kyrie and NOT KD.

KD NOT top 15 all time and NOT ahead of steph in GOAT debate from now on.
:wow: The gall to believe that first paragraph. Such conviction.
