CHICAGO
Harden, Beal, Klay, Lance, Waiters, Derozan

its not as bad as ya'll make it out to seem, I listed some good young talent at the 2

i like those dudes, especially klay.
yet, they are not what you quoted.
they are a step back, from that class.
even, harden is a step back from that class.
although, his journey is similar on the surface to tmac.
as he was held down, in some type of way like tmac, in tdot.
which was all, so.....
okc, could try to keep him and not pay him his worth.
similar to tmac in tdot,..
except his cousin was hating on tmac, too.

The prominence of them are new because stretch 4s and spacing is a lot more prominent due to the rule changes making it harder to run an offense through a back to the basket big man.

Not only that but SG was typically the "bail out" position. If the offense stagnated, you gave the ball to your SG because they were typically your best creator off the dribble but Iso Ball also died out in favor of a more PnR oriented game.

SG is weaker but we got a lot of great depth and young talent in the other two perimeter spots so I'm not stressing.

Curry, Kyrie, Dragic, Bledsoe, Wall, Lilliard, Parker, CP3, Westbrook, Rose (Possibly), Lowry, Conley

Lebron, Durant, Melo, George (Assuming he heals) Kawhi, Iggy, Batum

It's not too bad. It's nowhere near early 2000s but it's not as bad as it was in the 90s.

Jordan, Drexler...

I'll take Jordan, Drexler, Richmond, Miller, Dumars and Sprewell (five HOF's and a four-time all-star) over Harden, Beal, Klay, Lance, Waiters, Derozan

90's sg's >>>>>> now

That's the funniest thing to me. KD and Bron wax poet about dude but they completely reject his style of play.

thats because they are sensitive and care about how cacs perceive them. cats like kobe and ai could give two shyts about john hollinger and the any other cac.

The LeBron era made everybody fall in love with PER's and all them other totally unnecessary ass advanced stats. Nobody was worried about "efficiency" then as they are now. Its wack so now we gotta discredit a nikka like AI because his FG pct and his "efficiency" was lacking. Thats corny as shyt.

this. all the modern cats are literally gaming the system now that efffiency is in. Shane Battier admitted this. Also we had that article last year where the OKC coach had to beg KD to shoot last second half court shots rather than dribble the clock out to protect his fg%.

back when we was growing up and AI was dominanting all nikkas cared about was who led the league in scoring. I never heard anyone mention fg%.

:usure: Ask Team Kobe about it. :sas2: The same ones pining for the days when people weren't obsessed with the FG% are the same ones that were going on and on about AI's FG% back then. :dead: Let me get this straight...discrediting a player because of how he actually played is corny but riding for a nikka and completely ignoring, glossing over, or spinning his faults 10 years later because you thought he was cool and/or you wanna shyt on current players is perfectly fine? :dwillhuh: I was a big AI fan back in then too and I still have respect for a guy his size doing what he did. However I have matured since then and so did my understanding of the game. Having a 5'11 nikka chuck 30 shots a night is not a recipe for success. *looks forward to bu..bu...but he carried them to the Finals* Weak conference and it was a one time only deal...never sniffed another Finals. The fact that dudes who grew up idolizing him like KD and Bron completely reject his style of play says a lot.

thats a complete lie. i don't know what community you grew up in, but when nikkas was saying kobe was better than ai it was usually rings and then ai nikkas would come back and say he has shaq. then we'd go into who had the bettter cross-over. I swear only this new generation cares about stats that much. I didn't even know what numbers dudes put up back then unless NBC or TNT put it up during the games.

remember this was the era before the internet blew up. no nikkas was on the net in 2001. it was just cacs and asians back then.

if u didn't LOVE the way AI played, there's something wrong with you. Kobe was my favorite player in the 2000s but AI was the dude I respected the most.

for anyone to try and disregard his GREATNESS because of fg%/analytics shows u (1) don't know anything about basketball and (2) u prolly white.

Or watch the games. Iverson without a defensive team to back him up isn't going anywhere. The Nuggets didn't magically got better once they traded him for Billups

oh, back when you were like 5 years old? :sas1: that back when? :sas2:

efficiency isn't a new concept. advanced stats have just taken that part of analysis further. fg% was never irrelevant. stop trying to re-write history, you weren't old enough to watch or understand ball, let alone have types of those conversations.
