I won't say that the injury is a good thing, but the timing is better now than it would have been down the road. But I still don't like it. I would have preferred he stayed healthy and they dialed in some of the things they are short on for the playoffs. I'm just glad the injury isn't as bad as it could have been. I'm ok with picking up Barnes, i don't think that roster spot was a difference maker, but you never know.

Freak injuries happen. If it was meant to ruin our season then it would've been a tear instead of a sprain. Put KD on ice for a month and a half and bring back a fresh sniper.

When the Heat had their big 3 they had to take what they could get as fillers for the other parts of the roster and they made it work.

They have the majority of their core and will get back KD for their playoff run

Barnes was absolutely terrible. There was a point in the series where he went 6-32 or something like that on mostly uncontested, wide open shots. He's a role player that didn't play his role. Period. Properly scapegoated.
