Kyle Korver is shooting 51% from three with the Cavs, and it's not about just having 1 shooter, the Cavs actually hit more threes per game than the Warriors and at a slightly higher percentage. The Warriors have the higher end talent when it comes to shooting but the Cavs have more options on where the threes will come from - Korver, Love, JR Smith, Kyrie, Frye even LeBron can all hit the three. There's just some unpredictability from the Cavs, and their depth does change things between the two teams. Before all these moves the Cavs bench was pretty shytty, now it could be the thing that tips the series in their favor, just look at the impact Richard Jefferson made on the series last year.

Both teams are better this year, and these recent moves have put the Cavs in a real position to win the title in a series vs the Warriors.

Which teams are better this year? The Cavs team that has already lost 17 games and is 13-9 the last two months? The one starting Shump and Jefferson that just barely got by the Bucks? Or the one on paper?

Same for the Warriors - which team is better, the one without Durant that lost last night or the one with the imagined healthy Durant?

A lot has to happen before either of these teams look ANYTHING like last year's squads did going into the Finals.

Ah, hell no, it's all negatives. It moves them from "heavy favorite" to "potentially questionable favorite" for sure. They'll have to be lucky as hell for anything good to come out of this.

Kyrie and Korver are legit 40% three-point shooters, Frye is right there if he can get on the court. Everyone else on your list is suspect when it matters.

JR is shooting 33% on ALL shots this year, and he's unreliable as hell in the playoffs. Shump has been like 28% in the last two Finals and his 39% on threes this year is an aberration - he was only 29% in the regular season last year and no one trusts that shyt come playoff time. Love was 26% in last year's Finals and has hovered around 37% in the regular season since he joined Cleveland.

Livingston and Kyrie have completely different midrange games. Livingston is as shoot in the short midrange (getting into the key and just outside it on the sides) as anyone, but he loses it the closer he gets to the three-point line. Kyrie is better out close to the three-point line and not as good inside when the long arms get active.

And why you even mention James Jones? :mjlol:

Steph/Klay are obviously FAR better shooters than anyone in Cleveland's lineup, and it's silly to even play like that ain't true. They might be the two best shooters in NBA history.

To say Cleveland doesn't have the shooters to match GS is stupid though which is why I brought all those guys up. Lebron can find guys in open spots so they're in a better position to succeed from 3. In no way am I saying I wouldn't take Klay and Curry's shooting overall over Kyrie and Korver, just that the percentages are there.

As far as Kyrie midrange vs Livingston midrange, Livingston shoots over defenders and Kyrie creates space to shoot midrange but if we were to look up the percentages, I bet they'd be comparable.

I like the Cavs in a 7 game series with or without KD.

Breh, Step and Klay are VERY SPECIAL. No one on the Cavs can match them in any way at all. You just gotta hope they go cold at the right time. You used the word "match" which means equivalent. Not the case.

To say there's some huge gap in 3 point shooting between the teams is incorrect

shyt Derrick Williams has been a great pickup for them too, his athleticism gives them some versatility and his lack of shooting doesn't hurt them that much.

They went from Dunleav, Birdman, McRae, James Jones to Korver, D-Will x2 and Bogut.

If KD is healthy they win in 5 everybody keep talking about offense all those bench guys none of them play defense besides the rotation will be cut tremendously when its a playoff series and not back to back games I don't see LeBron coming off the court if they reach the finals. The warriors are better offensively than last year death lineup with kd versus barnes cavs not scoring 110 4 times which I think will be needed IMO.
