:usure: A level 2 MCL sprain is a partial tear.

He's been shut down for the season.

"PARTIAL TEAR", NOT THE SAME AS A FULL ON TEAR ALA WHAT BYNUM HAD WHEN THE SAME THING OCCURED. BASICALLY, I'D BE SURPRISED IF HE'S NOT ACTIVE BY MID APRIL BASED ON THE CURRENT DIAGNOSIS.

Just listen to how we sound. This is a premiere athlete. No one used to talk about players like this. If he cant push through twenty games and the playoffs then he's not worth shyt. He better get a sip of water from his Brita filter and get buckets :francis:
a injury can happen anytime and place for example this one right here ,in the midl-going late part of the season near playoffs. KD will miss the rest of RS and possibly wont be back till 2nd rd. Last thing Warriors need for Curry to be playing a game in late March and get injured resulting in them missing their two best players

Not sure what all the smilies are about. Obviously Embiid isnt going to the playoffs, that part of the post was in response to Embiid's condition which was recently changed from out indefinitely to out for the season.

As for your post, again a sprain is a tear, and especially a level 2 sprain to the MCL is not what anyone would characterize as mild.
:francis: don't quote me again if you don't understand if KD played for philly he would be shut down for the season because the season would be over by time he came back why would philly play embiid for 20 games when they aren't going to the playoffs :hhh: If embiid played for the warriors he would be ready to play by MID APRIL:ohhh: which is the PLAYOFFS :ohhh:which was the original point :ohhh:

Too bad for KD and the Warriors, especially KD. I think that what he did was a bytch move but I can't say that he deserved this. Just one of those things that happen playing the game.

If an injury can happen any time... why not just let him play :heh:. He could step on the court fresh in the first round and fall the wrong way. My man Steph slipped on sweat last year and f*cked his shyt up.

Just read the op:stopitslime:

It says he's been ruled out that he could return before the end of the season, and he will be reevaluated then.

My post was two seperate thoughts. One was informing the poster about Embiid's status as he seemed unaware of tbe update.

The other was informing you and 3 other posters that a level 2 sprain is indeed a tear, which you clearly were uninformed about calling it a "mild sprain."

I made no comparisons between Embiid's and Durant's respective injuries or timetables for return.

Simple enough?
