If they let him leave he'll be a Viking

i respect every thing u said except for the last line. Edit that shyt out ASAP....Y'all act like this is Madden and there is no human element to these decisions. Fields has the locker room. His accuracy isn't elite, but there's still enough positives there to build on with his talent... 1 being, getting more dynamic receivers on the roster.
I've seen enough Bears games to see him miss throws you want to be completed, but there have also been a ton of DIMES, game changing balls he's put perfectly into guys hands that have been dropped.
Going back to the human element, if he beats Green Bay next week, breh will have the entire city behind him. Moving on after that would be like the Bulls trading Rose before he developed his 3 point shot and won MVP in Year 3

So why are Bears fans in here assuming he would take a 20-30M a year deal?Coming from a Giants fan...YES!.
Another thing, I find it funny that so many say Justin is trash when his teammates, former teammates, other players across the league, former players and opposing coaches all say he’s a problem (in a good way). It’s these box score watchers who say he sucks.

Jones is trash and got 40M, that's the floor for Fields/his agent.
Yall have not actually watched Fields play. He can’t go through his progressions. He’s an inaccurate passer. He holds onto ball forever. Takes a beating with his running style. And he’s due for a big raise probably over $40 million a year. Take the QB. Trade Fields for another 1st. Set yourself up great longterm
If he's being offered $40 million a year by the time his rookie deal is ending he's a franchise QB. This isn't the NBA where scrubs/non-star players get $20 million annually without question as long as they were a first round pick; if you're not a franchise QB you're not getting paid like one full-stop. If Fields was really as trash as you haters always scream and swear he is he would've already been bushed like Josh Rosen, DeShone Kizer, and every other actual bust this century was.
IF that happens, Fields would have to have a career game. Bears aint good enough to cover up their QB flaws. If we knocks those cheeseheads out of the offs next week![]()

If Daniel Jones got 40 mil don’t see how fields doesn’t. Franchise guys are about to get 50+ nowIf he's being offered $40 million a year by the time his rookie deal is ending he's a franchise QB. No one is forcing the Bears to hold him hostage on the roster against their will; he is still playing and starting for them because they recognize in spite of his (and primarily his TEAM'S) flaws... his ceiling and athletic gifts are still higher than anyone else at the position across the league, save for the former unanimous MVP who's about to pocket another one. If he gets a hundred million dollar extension in the next couple of years it isn't because he's a bust who guilt tripped his FO into feeling sorry for his family or whatever bullshyt you goofies delusionally babble on about... it'll be because he's proved to be a franchise quarterback who earned it.![]()
