Keep Justin Fields or draft a new QB?

For his sake going forward, he needs to just take a backup job next season with one of the offensive minded 'QB whisperer' coaches

With a good coach he could be similar to Josh Dobbs as a solid back up.

I still think fields could have been a star if he was coached by a competent staff coming into the league but he has been broken mentally and will probably be out the league soon. It’s unfortunate because he’s a good kid and I want to see him win.

There is no chance he can be a star in the NFL at QB. He doesn’t see the field well enough and does not process the game fast enough.

This seems beyond obvious now, but it only really works because of Caleb AND Ben. Ben was never part of the equation during the run of this thread. Had they continued hiring Eberflus-like coaches, Caleb would have been ruined and we'd still be at the bottom of the division.

Even with Ben not in the discussion, the potential/ceiling of Caleb was always better than Fields(Which I feel a good chunk of this thread was about). If you give Fields Ben Johnson, he still wouldnt get to where Caleb has the bears now. That's because Fields wouldnt be able to make the big throws that Caleb has made consistently.
