Murray blew up because he had great 1st solo single, he was a GREAT live performer , and he made memorable features on rap and R&B songs.

I love Keith Murray. I was just listening to him a couple of days ago. but Canibus was a different animal.
to me, it's 87 Rakim, 94 Nas and then 97 Canibus. they represent the highest peaks of lyrical mastery imo.
