Na but bytching is literally Olbermann's whole show. Other shows at least discuss the games or players they actually like

That's everyone's entire show. Fat Boy Franscessa, Boomer and that bald headed turd, Adam Schein, Chris Russo, you name it. That's what they do.

If they don't, they don't have an interesting show. :yeshrug:

Hey, he backed up his position with facts and logic. Y'all coming off as illogical by just responding with petty insults and tears. Im a Jeter fan too, but its not the end of the world if someone puts his career in perspective and proper context. Get Jeter's balls off ya chin.

Whoever said Jeter was the greatest player ever? :what:

Yeah, the retirement displays are over the top, too much....but nobody I know has ever said Jeter is the greatest ever.

It's like he made up thi argument just to make a counter

WFAN callers and other New York centric people. Not all but many of them go overboard. The word thrown around for the past decade is "intangibles". I guess you'd have to live in or around the area to understand the type of people that Keith was addressing. Make no mistake, I still feel this was unnecessary and Keith is obviously a smug piece of shyt.

I'm surprised the New Yorkers on this board are saying they've never heard someone make an argument for Jeter being the best ever because it happens around here all the time..

They gonna be sad when Jeter is gone. Arod, Manny, Jeter, Pedro, Bonds was at least dudes that EVERYbody knew who they were. They were actual superstars. Now they gone who do we have left? I wouldn't know Mike Trout if he walked into my house. The rest of them cacs i dont even know what they name is. The only other players i know or Big Papi (he old as fukk) and Cabrera. Baseball doesnt have many nationally recognizable stars anymore. They gonna miss Jeter, plus he is the GOAT playboy. He needs to teach a course at NYU

Plus, even the biggest Jeter fans will tell you that he doesn't lead the league in all those stats mentioned in the rant.

Come on Keith...do better. :trash: :camby:

Any New Yorker who actually thinks Jeter is the GOAT yankee are the type of people who only watched October baseball....any Yankee fan who followed the big 5 in the early 90s should know Mariano and Andy were much more valuable to the playoff squad but don't get it twisted early 00s Jeter was still on top of the world.

Jeter isn't even Mattingly loved to real Yankee fans. He just had more universal appeal

My Pops Forever RIP
The people who say Jeter is the best ever are either young kids who only watched the Yankees during the dynasty years or their parents who really hate all the steroid era guys and appreciate that Jeter never had to cheat.

He's the unquestioned face of the last 20 years of Yankee baseball, but hardly the best player.

The Derek Jeter chants during every AB have really worn on me whenever I'm there, especially when it's immediately followed up with a ground out. Personally I appreciate Jeter, but I was more invested in the Mo stuff.
