1. i noted career slugging and hrs in far less plate appearances
2. i selected seasons because you said jeter has had better seasons overall. the 5 seasons i specifically pointed out can all be argued as better than jeter's best season

jeter had a far better career than both, is a legend and a great hitter. but trying to say he had more power than those other shortstops is absurd. stop it. and going into fielding ability is a wash at best

I like Keith on political issues but he needs to hang it up on Sports. How could anyone HATE on the GOD Jeter? The man has been a class act his entire career and he didn't need HGH or ROIDS to become a Legend. Also Made Millions, No Kids, Mad Hoes, No Controversy. 5 Rings. The man had THE PERFECT Career. I'm honored I got to see him Play live several of times in his career since I've lived here in NY this last decade.

He went overboard with this and it was completely unnecessary but the numbers speak for themselves in that It's still a New York thing. Everyone knows that if Jeter played for Oakland or Tampa or even St. Louis which is a national powerhouse and has won multiple titles recently, Jeter wouldn't be receiving THIS kind of send off.

He's definitely a hall of fame player but he's nowhere near the best player ever. I have seen people argue that. Much respect to Barry Lamar. Keith went way overboard. Some of Jeter's fans go way overboard. So what.

1b. Most of the reason Jeets gets props is because he fucced a bevy of bad broads, yo.

2. Well if that's the case, what sport does a captain actually do or mean shyt? Every sport has about 30 coaches and a head coach. The captain is just an extension of that


All I'm saying is. And I'm a philly fan. I respect his rings. And because he's on a team with like 30-40 of them thangs. And babe Ruth, Lou gerig, Reggie Jackson, etc etc etc etc. he won't even be the best Yankee. So I don't see how people are not even giving him his props.
