Album was fantastic though - Virgin Records sent me a promo copy, because I was doing a bunch of reviews/interviews at the time.

It's insane how they tanked this album in the us.
I was a HUGE Neptunes fan and saw the world premier of the song on BET...I literally never saw it again. It was on late night video shows on mtv and that's it. I blasted it en route to work...it's an amazing production. That bridge
I wonder what the process went into not releasing the album in the US but only overseas

I still have no idea. There were no samples on the retail version whatsoever that I can think of so it wasn't that...I legit think they just didn't want to drop a promotional bag on the album domestically
