He’s been to the playoffs before which is more than I can say about the Nuggets recently. Kemba on the Nuggets would at least return them to what they were under Melo, even if it’s just one and dones
Not for no Jamal Murray AND an unprotected pick AND more players WTF that’s insane

You are going to trade a 20 year old who’s putting up 15/4/3 on solid efficiency for a nikka who has never been outside of the first round is 28 years old and will be asking for 30 million on his new contact next year? :hhh:

That’s a short sighted disaster

He always makes some horrible decisions at the draft. Giving all that money to mediocre role players really fukked them over.
but who do you pay? these shytty teams that are going nowhere have to pay players to hit the salary floor, someone marginal is going to be eating on every bad team

I duno. I feel like kemba will be a solid vet for a while. It’s not like he depends on his athleticism to be effective.

He plays at an all star level right now. I still see him being better in 4 years than one of these new rookies after their 2nd year in the league.

Plus suns need some leadership. They can add to their young core in other eras instead of PG.

And we all know Booker will be the guy in Phoenix still not kemba

And suns aren’t getting Trae the way he’s looking like a top 3 pick
:usure:

How do you think he gets separation?

When you go out and pay Paul Millsap $30 mil a year, your goals become short term.

The Nuggets have let a lot of assets waste away because they were too gun shy. Millsap being out hurts, but they shouldn’t be looking up at the Clippers in the standings.

Not really ...they had that money to burn ...they didn’t have to give any assets up for him and if they didn’t spend it last offseason they would have lost it because of Gary Harris’ extension my bruh ... it was literary nothing to lose in that deal especially since it’s only two years .... Now on the other hand giving up that kind of package for Kemba Walker bruh? And you still might not even make the playoffs WITH him??

Yikes

They’d get in with Kemba. I don’t even question that provided Millsap is healthy. My point is they spent that money on an older Millsap which means they gotta get going now. In a year or two they’re gonna be luxed out anyway after they max out Jokic. If they can get in with Murray so be it, but a Walker trade locks it up. They’d be better than Portland at the very least.

They just don't do a good job of evaluating talent. How is it that teams like the Spurs, Raps and Heat find contributors out of nondrafted and non lotto picks every year for the last 5 years, and the Hornets have only developed 2 lotto picks in the last 7 years

The worst thing you can do is spend just to fill that cap room, it leads you nowhere. Bryan Colangelo did what the Hornets did for years in Toronto and the team went nowhere fast

I just seen this on bleacher report

  1. Charlotte Hornets Receive: PF/C Derrick Favors, SG/SF Rodney Hood, PG Ricky Rubio, 2018 first-round pick (top-eight protected)

Utah Jazz Receive: SG/SF Nicolas Batum, PG Kemba Walker

but the point is, you HAVE to spend. you cant just sit there with mad cap space. if you have zero talent, you still have to spend like 85 million a season

But you don't have to saddle your team with a bunch of contracts like the Hornets did, look at the state of their team now. They're going to be stuck like this, nobody is taking those contracts unless they give up picks

Everyone gets on them for taking Kaminsky but that’s because everyone was convinced Justise Winslow would be a star. How’d that work. They gave Gordon Hayward a big offer sheet and they got clowned on here for it. Malik Monk was the steal of the draft according to everyone who wanted to clown on the Knicks. How’s that working out?

Door #1 hasn’t worked.
Door #2 wouldn’t have worked either.
Door #3 is do nothing and that never works. They’re snakebit.
