I dunno, could be a Dipset And Lox situation with this one on the low. Where Lupe’s performance skills, etc. may give him that underdog advantage in a live scenario.

No it’s not. First off most people predicted the Lox to destroy dipset. And both of them are equals in terms of song popularity, known members, solo success, different eras. Nobody outside his most hardcore knows any Lupe songs pass the Cool. And he damn sure aint anywhere near Kendrick level in terms of all other aspects

I'm not even talking about quality, I'm talking about the two artists gotta be on somewhat equal footing. Kendrick and Lupe are not on equal footing. You can sit here and write a thesis on why Lupe is doper, more talented, more lyrical, etc. but none of that shyt matters because Kendrick has more big songs (and define big however you want....better known, more sales, more popular, more culturally relevant) than Lupe. Which factors heavily in a Versuz.

It ain't gotta be "big" as in pop, cross over shyt either. You see the RZA/Primo shyt went so well because they're on equal footing.

Kendrick is also a great performer as well so the Lupe Stanleys can't even use performance as part of their argument as to why Lupe could beat Kendrick in a verses. Kendrick vs. Lupe in a Verzuz is highly disrespectful to Kendrick.
