This is based off that dumbass shyt Jadakiss and Fat Joe said I fukking hate them cornballs. In an era where being "weird" and super eclectic is far more accepted than it was in the 90s, of course he gone blow up; not to mention who else on the west is competing with him commercially?

They're right, I hate that era of hip hop and people need to stop glorifying it because the music was ass

had heard heard replacement girl but figured id never see him again:mjlol:.Im only saying as someone who didnt really know who he was,Wayne had no impact on making me view him or how i viewed him. And even after finding out he was with Wayne it meant nothing.Plus is the Wayne cosign even a thing? Hard to compare that to a Jay or Dr Dre cosign that are proven. Drakes a different type of machine creation we havent seen in hiphop before. He was given hits to pop out like a pop star,no mystery why he was succesful.

Future music doesnt sound Dungeon Family esque. Not to mention their cosign meant nothing in that era even if they gave him one. His music was his own and created its own momentum. Can you compare that with a Dre cosign and being called "King of the West" by Snoop and Game:comeon:

These are things that helped bring eyes to and propell Kendrick. There has to be an asterisk when comparing him to goats.

My nikka Wayne was all over Drake from 2009 to 2011 them nikkaz even did a tour together. This how I know you aint really rock with Drake like that. Wayne is on Drakes first two albums to say he didn’t help out Drake is facetious. Once Wayne went to jail and Drake was the runner up and carried the label on his back that’s when the distance from Wayne came. Wayne took him out for his first tour to give him experience on the stage. The nikka even ushered this muthafukka in with Marshall at the Grammys. I don’t think you get Wayne was the biggest artist at that time and Drake was coming up under that. That was like how Eminem brought in 50. That was just as big if not bigger than Jay and Dre.

As for Future Rico Wade was still with him. You know who that nikka is he created hits for Goodie Mobb, TLC and OutKast RIP. nikka always had the OGs around him even though they weren’t visible Future had pull in Atlanta. Mixtape era Future was huge back then too. I’m telling you Kendrick was a special nikka around section 80 time and his feature run at that time was fire. Kendrick always had that IT Factor he could always go the hit route or the artistry route but he never comprimised his art. He did what he felt what he wanted to put out and didn’t box himself in being the hit maka nikka. He’s like Prince they can do hits all day but committed to the artistry and put out music they want to put out.

I wish Kendrick was even HALF as nice/creative as Aceyalone

and I say that as someone who thought Aceyalone was lame as kid
