This is based off that dumbass shyt Jadakiss and Fat Joe said I fukking hate them cornballs. In an era where being "weird" and super eclectic is far more accepted than it was in the 90s, of course he gone blow up; not to mention who else on the west is competing with him commercially?

Jada didn't agree with that. When he mentioned 'Tupac Shakur' Jada sighed and took a deep breath lol.

Fat Joe is clearly trying to level up, I dont believe he believes that. :russ:

Kendrick being what he is now is by ethering Drake, that's obvious. Damn had more catchy, legit radio hit type songs and was a big album but GNX is easily his biggest album. GNX is as big as it is because Kendricks aura/demand for his music is so strong right now.

If Luther or TV Off was a single off Mr. Morale they'd be mild hits.

I hate take like these. Because Kendrick would still be big back then too. Think about all the rapper that rap like him now that don’t see half the success. If this nikka dropped good kid maad city and TPAB he would have still been looked at as one of the goats. The story telling in those albums none of the 90s nikka we’re doing concept albums to that level. Eras don’t change a damn thing and it’s a dumb take because Kendrick is heavily influenced by pac, Jay and Nas. Those were the study years for him.

I get it nikkaz don’t fukk with Kendrick but stars are stars. You can’t stop those. Like this is like saying if Biggie and Pac didn’t die would Eminem and Jay be as big as they are. Yall can say machine push and all that but there’s a reason why this nikka is selling out stadiums left right and centre. He was still selling out arenas before the beef with Drake and at one point had the highest selling concerts with some saying with his weakest album.

Doesn'"t matter what era it is, he has the best discogaphy in rap no matter the year. He has albums that stand strong against any truly GOAT album in ANY musical genre. Most rappers from the 90s can't say the same.

nikka said Kendrick wouldn’t be big enough to perform the superbowl if he was in an era where rappers didn’t perform at the Super Bowl

This like what are we talking about here. Both him and Drake would have been big in the 90s if you take there level of musicality they have now and put it in the 90s

Seemed like Busta Rhymes was at his most popular when he was on his Dennis Rodman steez in the 90s. :pachaha:
