1st, Kendrick isn't spiritually inclined. At all. You can't run around condemning the church for their actions while your album is full of explicit language. Conceptually, much of the Old Testament law should be placed to the side in favour of the established paradigm of Jesus' teachings in the New Testament.
Much of the Old Testament is anti-polytheistic and Hebrew Law.

We don't live in a theocratic society anymore breh, much of the Old Testament cannot be applied to state-law systems, and you cannot ignore the "canonical" New Testament in favour of pure interpretation of the Old Testament.

I agree with everything you said except the last part. I believe Kendrick may need to read Matthew 7:5 if he truly wants to be taken seriously. "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye" Matthew 7:5 . Also just because God forgives you doesn't mean he's going to let you off the hook.

When we confess our sins and put our faith and trust in Christ alone for our salvation, God takes away all our guilt – absolutely and completely. The psalmist declared, “I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord’ – and you forgave the guilt of my sin” (Psalm 32:5). We are forgiven!

But this doesn’t mean that all the sins of the past will suddenly vanish, and we’ll no longer have to deal with their consequences. Sin always has consequences – always. The devil tries to convince us that this isn’t so, and that we can ignore God’s laws and get by with it – but that’s a lie (like everything else he tells us).
