Q is alllllways talking about drugs, Molly included.

Either way, it's all interesting to me. I don't know why dudes are arguing about it though, lol.

That's what makes TDE great, they don't need to be like each other they are individuals. I hate men who can't stand on their own and have to give into popular opinion. Just cuz Kendrick isn't feeling it dont mean Q has to agree. Be your own man period.

Wow he made a stand against a harmful chemically made drug and nikkaz want hate? FOH

It's amazing...I thought it was just ageism when I first heard the back lash against Lord Jamar for being critical about the molly content... But now I see that n1ggas just get offended when anyone choses to use hip hop as a vehicle for anything other than fun, sex, materialism and violence..

It's getting to the point now where a rapper will make a verse about people needing to wear condoms and the response will be

"Stop preaching n1gga worry about your own dikk. Why you not worried about n1ggas killing each other in Detroit!?!?"

or

"Promoting safe sex is low hanging fruit. You just trying to win a grammy. I'm gonna smash these hood rats raw if I want to. Smart dumb n1gga!!"

These n1ggers are so willfully ignorant and self detructive and I LOVE it!!!

He is talking about liquor, that was never in question. However the song is not about encouraging drinking it is about seeing alcohol abuse every where around him. It is a catchy song with a message. If he beat people over the head by preaching it would be a turn off for most. The other poster suggested that Kendrick was pro alcohol on the song but he is playing an observation role as in write what I see not tell u to drink.

Look at how the verses break down

First verse he says he grew up around people living their lives in bottles aka alcoholic. Then gives u examples using his grandpa and reasons why people might do it "drown their sorrows".

Hook comes in and it is about peer pressure "why are u baby sitting your drink" etc something a homie might say to u.

Second verse is about his own conscious struggling with alcohol thus the weird voice and referring himself in third person . this is personal reflection.

Just take in the words again on the surface it might be a party record but not really. I believe most rappers who write like this often fail to balance social commentary with entertainment. Like Lupe and his terribly executed bytch bad song :scusthov:

i hear you breh, but you can't convince me that this song isn't encouraging drinking :heh:

faux outrage over molly,

syrup use has killed a rapper and sent a current popular one into a seizure,
nikka in his crew made a song about drunk driving.

It's not about the use as such. It's about the d-riding of it in hip-hop as if they're promoting it like it's Ciroc or something. With lean, rappers actually live it.

Mind explaining to me your boy's reasoning for cutting powered mdma with cocaine and :mindblown: gasoline...is your boy some kind of filthy rich genius level chemical engineer/alchemist who doesn't sell drugs to maximize profit but rather for the sheer fukkery of it all? Were you there the day he discovered the process of transmuting gasoline

Hey, I'm just going by what he told me. You guys can keep doing molly the point im trying to make is that most of the dealers out there aren't selling PURE MDMA. They're telling you its molly, but its a concoction of a bunch of shyt. I've heard about dealers putting crack in it.

:dead: at people in here writing essays about the good and bad about Molly

No one gives a fukk about molly, Kendricks just talking about all the "She on that Molly", "One More Molly" "Mollys in Her Mouth" "Molly Molly" type tracks and how it's corny that these grown ass men are dikkriding trends they don't even participate in.

dikk riding trends has been one of the most prominent things about rap since the beginning of time

And yeah, this is a publicity stunt

You finally see why I have such a strong stance against trend hopping and ignorance. nikkas are the Devil's biggest supporters and don't realize it.
