Mr Morale was my biggest key down in rap ever. I was so fukking ready to hear new Kendrick. Damn was ok to me but Mr. Morale is such a piece of shyt. I heard that album once and never again. I'm still heated at how shytty that thing is.

The worst part is the new hipster crowd that is so up Kendricks ass that they act like everything he does deserves a Pulitzer prize.

Dude regressed mentally and talent wise.

Mr Morale. I'd go so far as to say he regressed as a rapper during this era. There are some great rapping moments on there like Father Time and the intro but overall I personally felt it was a step down. Going from Heart V to that, rap wise, was rather concerning to me. Not a terrible album by any means though.

I'm glad this era is over and hope we get a return to him rapping. I don't need the Kanye-like impromptu shyt, where it feels like someone is saying "the crowd is gonna yell this so loud on tour."

Probably Mr. Morale. He was doing alot of singing on it. Not that it was bad but I can't put it over Section 80. Only standouts from Morale was The Heart 5 Father Time the Savior interlude and Mother I Sober

Section 80 was alot more memorable

It's Keems fault. Kendrick was uninspired until he started making music with him more. That's why there's so many reference tracks for Keem. He's Kendricks muse

The melodic animated shyt is cool but Kendrick is a rapper's rapper. He doesn't need to do all that all the time

Mr Morale might be the only one that isn’t 5 mics.

Straight hit or miss all around
