Don’t care about their score, but it’s his worst album in my opinion. It’s still dope no doubt, but it lacks the creativity of his previous albums. Not to mention it’s too short and too many features. Is this considered an LP or EP?

Not gonna lie I really liked the song at first but I wasn't in love with it. Just not what I'm used to hearing from Kendrick. But this shyt is classic status now. The epitome of feel good music. That last minute when they go full blown duet :to:

"I'ma make you say it loooouuuuuudddd

I'm not even trippin I won't stress you ooooooouuuuuut" :wow:

Kendricks ability to create the catchiest melodies is 2nd to none. He could prolly make a classic RnB album if he wanted. The vibe of this song reminds me of nelly and Kelly Rowland "dilemma". Very poppish RnB feel. If they do the video right this could be massive. If they really want it to take off with the ladies they should shoot it with Kendrick and Sza really being a couple.

These next couple years gonna display the melodic talent he’s always had but didn’t use it as his go to. When he drops that mainstream pop album he’s gonna be in a whole nother stratosphere.

Curious to see if he goes the Sam Cooke/Stevie Wonder route of substance mixed in with the blatantly bubblegum.

Yea I could definitely see Kendrick transitioning more to the soul route as he gets older. He's a musical wizard. Don't see him ever really retiring. The scary part is he's only getting better. This album is hands down his most impressive from a purely song writing perspective. I see more Marvin gaye/Stevie is anything. I think Kendrick will always stick to that somber lo-fi jazz sound that he loves. I feel like his whole career he's been trying to find that perfect balance between underground and mainstream. And I think he's finally found it.
