First of all, I don't think I've ever claimed Kendrick ain't on Drake's level. He obviously is. I just prefer Drake's music (the old stuff mostly) and think Kendrick stans hilariously overrate every project and act like every line is the deepest, most insane quadruple entendre shyt they ever heard.

I think it's going to do normal numbers for Kendrick but I'm not sure it's going to beat Damn.. 300-400k

This album to me doesn't have straight forward commercial appeal.. It has bops but I don't hear a crossover hit.. Which is funny to me because I know people expected for him to try to capitalize on the moment..

I can picture casual rap fans who were tagging along off NLU and this album being too hard for them

A lot of the sentiments expressed on here seem like they could fit how he feels about Cole. Multiple songs (man at the garden?), hooks (wacced out murals?) and bars, arguably more potential subs than he even aimed at Drake.
