Heart Pt 6 is very Nas'ish. I feel like he listened to alot of Pac and Nas while making this one.

Reincarnated is the most obvious. The first 2 verses remind me of Pac, but the last one reminds me of DMX (Who people compared to Pac when he came out. Maybe it had a double meaning.)
Man at the Garden was his "One Mic"
Gloria was kind of like a combination of "Hip Hop" Nas and Scarface, and "Me And My Girlfriend" Tupac.
I could hear Nas on a record like Luther and Heart Pt. 6

Makaveli and Stillmatic must have been in the rotation when he was recording.

This definitely a stereotype LA tone album.
Kendrick as always do too much with the voice changes and flows. (shyt just always been too extra and corny)

He hardly did anything with his voice on this album

What reason is there not too for them. All the goats have nothing but love for Kendrick LL all the way down to Eminem, Jay and Nas. He been goated in they books.

I’d say Kendrick more respected by the OG’s then then rappers amongst his peers. The only nikka out of his peers I will admit is he is highly respected from is Cole because he kissed the ring in front of his fans.

Man At The Garden def reminds me of One Mic.

He performs it in the Super Bowl. Midway, pays homage to Nas and lets Nas finish off one mic but don’t even change the beat. Let it ride since it’s basically the same beat and one mic definitely inspired that song. Just like reincarnated was a tribute to pac.
