Everything holds up - this was a fantastic release, and I personally would put it above Mr. Morale

I don't think it was a misstep. It wasn't for me. But it checks a box for GOAT contender for sure.


this album is my lane. this is easily my favorite kendrick project.


You have to take creative chances and really go for it if you are that guy; and he did that with mr.morale. plus from the couple times I spun it he did it with a heavy theme. thats bold. I respect it.

Its literally the only song with cross over appeal. The booth has a lot of "pure hiphop heads" not actual music heads. so I get it; can't relate tho that shyt wavy

Maybe misstep wasn't the right word for it, I just don't find it memorable (and I fukks with all of his other albums) at all but I do respect that he went there for his first non-TDE project.
