I can't be the only one who thinks this was the worst track on there, on an otherwise solid album. His voice just doesn't match Pac's flow and cadence. It's any wonder how 3 Stacks was able to provide some kind of guide early on.

Ty$ says the Hey Now beat was originally his back in 2020 but he didn't do nothing with it so Mustard passed it to Kendrick.

He couldn't do what Kendrick did with it. Nobody could. Kendrick went to a different dimension on that.

The westcoast fall off wasn't because people stopped enjoying the westcoast sound. It's because it stopped being done on an elite level. Just like the east coast did. We're seeing how dope a westcoast album can still be when an a top tier artist does it right. I always hated that Kendrick stopped making bangers.

Swimming pools. ADHD. Money trees. Some of the most iconic commercial songs of the past decade. Kendrick shines on this type of mainstream production. Hope he continues.

GNX to become the first small album to crack 300 million streams
HDD confirmed they never thought a 12 tracks album would have done this

:russ: This is one of those made up ESPN stats, first player under 6’9 to average .8 blocks in 3 nonconsecutive games on Thursdays.

Again, I’m not here to argue about sales, but this is what I mentioned in the sales thread. Considering how people run up stats at labels, what Kendrick did was remarkable. There’s a reason every artist on a major label is putting 15+ songs on a project. Idiots in the thread arguing about sales when they have no idea how the industry works…. But I’ll let Yall cook.
