Yeah its not surprising to see 85% of people having TPAB as the clear #1. It's also the highest rated album after all lol.
Gkmc is a classic, no doubt, but its like comparing a great rap album (like Aquemini), to a flawless musical masterpiece in pretty much every musical genre (like OK Computer by Radiohead).
You even start seeing people saying stuff like "I prefer damn, or gkmc, despite TPAB being objectively better).
This album is undisputable, and its so far ahead in his catalog that it would be an insult not having it at the top of the list, unless you're biased (and thats ok) or you lack musical knowledge.

Why you hold cac music so high above Aquemini?
Not even that I don't like radiohead, but the musicianship from the dungeon fam and affiliates is emaculate
If having legendary sessions musicians and top tier neo soul singers don't make it musical masterpiece, what else you want?

The syncopation alone disqualified the album from being anything more than a rap classic...Way too many musical flaws, bad keys,...
Just because you managed to get musicians to play on your songs doesnt mean the quality of the music is good.
I personally dont care about RH, but half of their catalog is flawless from a musical angle.

Honestly GNX is a great album but it’s not better than Mr. Morale and big steppers. Kendrick to me had amazing writting on this project from top to bottom. Sure GNX is better produced but lyrically other than Reincarnation it’s not seeing Mr Morale. But I get why people love GNX it’s more digestible like Damn for public consumption it’s a more balanced album.

I feel like 80s and 90s rap albums was held to certain limits compared to other genres especially prog rock Radiohead ( who I kinda like) type albums

There's no problem with enjoying aquemini more, the preference and feeling you got from the music is subjective.
But it's still not a better album than Kid A.
