From a writting perspective I agree but GNX had better production.

This is a good convo, I don’t feel GNX or Morale had better production over the other.

GNX was more versatile in production while Morale was more cohesive. There was a distinctive sound he was going for, It just flowed consistently like a book. There was a classical sound in how often you heard violins, horns and live instruments throughout the album.

Eerily reminiscent of Late Registration in that regard. I will say Morale and GNX to date, are his best mixed and mastered albums. I don’t know who he went to, to master Morale but ever since that album his songs sound extremely crisp. It was very noticeable on Euphoria, Man at the Garden, peekaboo, Mirror, Mr Morale & Rich Spirit.

Theres aleeady discussions about kendrick having one of the Best discographies and its well deserved.

Imo hes up there with outkast.

Theres nothing impressive with having 5 classics if you have 30 albums in tour catalog...what kendrick did is something only outkast and ye pre-tlop did.

Kendricks discog is around the level that Kanyes discog was at in its absolute prime before it took a fukking nose dive and got extremely watered down with trash…let’s see if Kendrick can keep his streak/consistency going
